Saul J. Berman, Ph.D. is Partner & Vice President, Chief Strategist and Global Salesforce Alliance Leader for IBM Consulting. In this role he works closely with senior executives of major corporations and Salesforce on strategic business issues. He leads a worldwide team of IBM consultants focused on delivering business value through platform-based transformation and industry reinvention. Dr. Berman was the previously the Digital Strategy Global Leader & Lead Strategy Partner for the Media and Entertainment Practice as well as a Global Strategy & Change Services Leader at IBM Global Business Services. Before joining IBM, Saul was the Global Strategic Change Leader at PwC Consulting. He was also previously with The Boston Consulting Group, a divisional Vice President with Broadway Department Stores and an Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Southern California. Dr. Dr. Berman holds a Ph.D. in Management and Information Systems and a MBA in Production Systems and Operations Research from the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Economics at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Berman was named as one of the Top 25 Consultants of 2005 by Consulting Magazine & Top 50 Marketing executives over 50 by Global CMO Magazine. He is also an editorial advisory board member for Strategy & Leadership Magazine. Additionally, Dr. Berman served as a board member of the USC Film School Entertainment Technology Center, and of the Southern California chapter of the Strategic Leadership Forum. He has also authored numerous books and publications including Not For Free: Revenue Strategies for a New World, published by Harvard Business Review Press, and the numerous IBM Institute for Business Value studies

 

 

Andrea Zapata is head of research, data and insights at WarnerMedia Ad Sales. Zapata oversees research for WarnerMedia’s portfolio of linear and digital brands, marketplace intelligence, category and client insights as well as outcome focused research for advertisers. Zapata brings a wealth of experience in media where she has brought an innovative approach to her work, demonstrating the value and impact that research, data and insights can have on a business. Prior to WarnerMedia, she was vice president of west coast sales at Vevo, responsible for building on the momentum of their US sales teams’ in-market strategy and maximizing the value of premium music videos. In addition, Zapata has held research leadership positions at Effectv, and Hulu. At Hulu, she built the research practice from the ground up, making critical changes in the company’s go-to-market sales narrative. Zapata is a member of She Runs It, of which WarnerMedia is a Silver Level Corporate Alliance partner; and regular speaker and panelist at industry events including the TV of Tomorrow, SXSW, Variety and IAB Mixx conferences. Mary Hamilton, Managing Director, Accenture: Mary Hamilton is a Managing Director at Accenture. She is the North America and Latin America Lead of Accenture Technology Innovation. In her regional role Mary leads several critical components of the Accenture Innovation architecture, which help our clients to drive continuous innovation at scale: Accenture Labs, the dedicated R&D organization of Accenture; Accenture Ventures, which bridges clients with eco-system partners including incubators, accelerators, corporate venture capitalists, start-ups, and academia; Accenture Technology Incubation Group, which incubates applied R&D into business solutions (XR, Quantum Computing, Multiparty Computing, Robotics) and Accenture Liquid Studios, which prototype and scale incubated solutions at clients all over the world. Core to her role leading Technology Innovation, Mary is focused on driving client co-innovation partnerships, establishing ongoing relationships with leading companies in their industries to conduct joint R&D, shape open innovation, and incubate and rapidly emerging technologies.  In the 23 years she has been with Accenture, she has worked across all five industry groups, and her clients have included several prominent Media and Entertainment companies across North America and Latin America. Outside of Accenture, she is on the Board of Directors for the non-profit organization, Women Who Code and is passionate about diversity and inclusion, especially in Technology.  Mary is a frequent speaker, sharing her perspective on emerging digital technologies for the enterprise and consumers at conferences, client, and industry events.  Mary received her SB degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

 

Rajan Mehta, Executive Vice President, Chief Product & Technology Officer, WWE: Rajan Mehta is responsible for WWE’s consumer technology, which include the WWE Network & WWE.com. In addition, he manages their enterprise technology strategy & operations, including Video Delivery, Cybersecurity, Data Technology, & Information Technology. Mehta joined WWE in 2013 as Vice President, Digital Technology and was promoted to Senior Vice President, Media Technology in 2015. Prior to joining WWE, Mehta was with NBC Universal where he held leadership roles with NBC Sports and served as the Chief Technology Officer for Dyle Mobile TV. Mehta has also held technology positions for General Electric, and Sitetrends, an east coast based internet company. Mehta has been recognized with numerous industry awards including a 2008 Emmy Award for "Outstanding New Approaches in Sports Broadcasting," for his work with NBC Olympics and multiple Webby Awards for his work with the WWE Network.  Of particular relevancy, Rajan could speak to the adaptive and creative technologies WWE has set forth, along with the return to live, in-person events, in-arena experiences and digital content offerings, and how they have changed viewership in the sports and entertainment spaces altogether, all thanks to technologies like 5G, AR/VR, AI/ML, and others.

 

Dan Callahan serves as Senior Vice President of Data Strategy and Sales Innovation for Fox Ad Sales. He is based in New York and reports to Marianne Gambelli, President of Fox Ad Sales. In this role, Callahan leads a team that is focused on the ‘next generation’ of advertising capabilities, notably around audience and programmatic advertising solutions and driving their widespread adoption by marketers and agencies.  This includes efforts around the company’s capabilities with FOX Next, which personalizes the brand experience by bringing the ability for clients to optimize against the entire Fox portfolio of platforms.  With FOX Next, the company has built forward-leaning capabilities and cutting-edge tools, using data, and automation that deliver precision and drives impact for the company’s advertising partners. A 14-year veteran of the company, Callahan joined Fox in 2007 and has held a multitude of ascending positions within the Ad Sales Division.  In 2014, he was elevated to VP of Programmatic Sales for FOX Sports and his role expanded the following year to the Fox Networks Group.  In 2019, he was promoted to his current position. Callahan graduated from Wake Forest University with a bachelor’s in Communications.  He was also a member of the school’s football team.

 

Rich Sutton, Consultant, CRO-Partners: Highly regarded and with proven success in digital media, Sutton has more than 30 years of experience in management, marketing, startups, turnarounds and working to grow world-class brands. Sutton's is a Chief Revenue Officer who has led Everyday Health, Trusted Media Brands, The Daily Mail and led as SVP at WebMD.  Prior to joining WebMD, Sutton served as Senior Vice President for Warner Bros. Entertainment where he led digital media sales and client marketing for Warner Bros. Online for more than 13 years. Sutton’s work with brands has been recognized by Ad Age, Forbes, AAAA, and Adweek, among other industry publications, and online and marketing awards. He is the author of “Best Practices in Branded Entertainment” for the Association of National Advertisers, as well as several White Papers including: “The Future of Digital Video” and “Can Video and Native Formats Rule Mobile Advertising?”.  In 2018 Digiday named Sutton "Top Boss." Peg Jackson, Managing Director, Mooreland Partners:  Peg is a Managing Director in Mooreland Partner’s Greenwich office.  She brings more than 20 years of investment banking, venture capital and operating management experience within the media technology sector. At Mooreland, she focuses on the digital media, marketing software and e-commerce industries. Prior to joining Mooreland Partners, she was a Managing Director at Gridley & Co, where she worked on transactions within the digital media sector. Prior to joining Gridley, Peg worked in venture capital as a Managing Director at NeoCarta Ventures investing in media technology companies such as Silverpop and Myrio (acquired by Siemens). Prior to working at NeoCarta, Peg held corporate development and operational roles at NBC and Reuters.   Peg holds a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA from New York University.
