Anya Grundmann, Senior Vice President for Programming and Audience Development, NPR: Anya Grundmann oversees NPR's industry-leading podcast portfolio with 150 million monthly global downloads, in addition to NPR Music, NPR Events and NPR's entertainment and talk radio programming. Under her

transformational and creative leadership, NPR Music's Tiny Desk Concerts have become a household name in music discovery and the NPR Programming division has dramatically expanded NPR's on demand audience and journalism footprint with the launch of more than 15 podcasts and radio shows in collaboration with NPR News, including four of the top 20 podcasts in America. Before becoming the head of NPR Programming in 2015, Grundmann was the founding Executive Director of NPR Music, a premiere award-winning source for music discovery and innovative multiplatform journalism that reaches more than 12 million people a month across npr.org, YouTube, podcasts and NPR radio programs. In 2013, Billboard named her as one of the "Power 100" in the music industry, and Fast Company noted that Anya and her team are "re-inventing public radio for the post-radio generation." Before driving the launch of NPR Music, Grundmann served as the Director of NPR's Music radio division, including the Peabody award-winning classical music radio program, Performance Today where she started as an intern and eventually became the editor overseeing features, daily scripts, and live broadcasts from remote locations. In 2002, she left NPR briefly when she was a awarded a year-long fellowship with the National Arts Journalism Program at Columbia University. She got her start in public radio as a volunteer at member station KNAU (Flagstaff, Arizona) where she helped create KNAU's first music database and worked as an on-air announcer. She graduated from Grinnell College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.

 

Kathy Doyle is the Vice President of Podcasting for Macmillan Publishers, the only Big 5 with a dedicated podcast arm. She is responsible for audio-first programming, including the Macmillan Podcast Network, which produces popular podcasts with the organization’s authors and book imprints. Podcasts range from sci-fi and true crime to literature and biography. She also oversees one of Macmillan’s largest digital networks, Quick and Dirty Tips. QDT produces a dozen weekly award-winning audio podcasts hosted by subject matter experts on a wide range of topics. Podcasts include the long-running Grammar Girl and Savvy Psychologist. The network has a large web presence, too, which features content from the podcast hosts and a large variety of Macmillan authors. Prior to joining Macmillan, she had a long-standing career developing digital products and services for  media companies, including The Wall Street Journal and American Lawyer Media.

 

Rob Greenlee, VP of Content and Partnerships, Libsyn (LSYN) and was inducted into the Academy of Podcasters Hall of Fame in 2017.  Formerly served as VP, Podcaster Relations at Voxnext’s Spreaker. He started on radio in 1999 and then podcasting in 2004 with the first nationally syndicated radio show "WebTalk World Radio Show" to begin podcasting. He also worked as Voxnest’s Head of Partnerships and Spreaker's Head of Content. Greenlee’s prior positions have included as EVP/CTO at PodcastOne.com, Business / Content Manager of Podcasts at Microsoft Zune and Xbox Live Marketplace on Windows Phone/Zune/Windows Media Center and in 2005 was Global Content and Marketing Manager at Melodeo Mobilcast. He currently co-hosts the "New Media Show", a weekly audio and video podcast that streams LIVE on NewMediaShow.com/live, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch every Saturday morning at 9am PST/Noon EST.  He is on the Editorial board for Podcast Business Journal.

 

Urs Cete serves as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, L.P. Mr. Cete joined the Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments in 2006. He serves as the Principal and Head of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments at Mojiva, Inc. Prior to BDMI, Mr. Cete worked in Bertelsmann AG's Corporate Controlling and Strategy Department, where he was in charge of group controlling and group strategy. In that capacity he worked on strategic projects in all of Bertelsmann's media categories (television, radio, music, books, magazines and services). Prior to that, he worked and lectured for the Finance Department of the Handelshochschule Leipzig specializing in Corporate Valuation. Mr. Cete serves as a Member of Advisory Board at BLUE LION mobile GmbH. He serves on the Boards of Skimlinks since November 11, 2011; Mojiva, Inc., Qeep and Exit Games. He holds an MBA from Tulane University and graduated from the Handelshochschule Leipzig.
