His first book titled, “The 16th Minute of Fame:  An Insider’s Guide for Maintaining Success Beyond 15 Minutes of Fame”, was recently nominated for a NAACP Image Award. His is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and frequent speaker on the business of entertainment.

 

Jeanette Milio is a Producer / Executive Producer and financier of motion pictures and television programming. Over the span of twenty-five years and working across three continents, she has been involved in over 45 motion picture and television projects, with a total production value exceeding $250 million, and including Academy Award ® winning talent in front and behind the camera. Born and raised in Germany, Jeanette’s B. Milio’s career started in 1989 with RTL Television’s prime time programming producing German formats of “The Price Is Right", "Family Feud", "Jeopardy", among others. For ARD Network she produced the fictional prime-time drama Wildbach for 5 seasons. In 1999, Jeanette immigrated to the United States and focused on theatrical motion picture production and financing. She produced the Fox / Constantin Film feature Timeshare starring Nastassja Kinski, Timothy Dalton, and Kevin Zegers.  Her work with various German media funds, lead her to take over the management of Camden Equities, a media investment fund launched by Far East National Bank in Los Angeles. The fund invested in the production, acquisition and worldwide distribution of over 40 television and theatrical projects for HBO, Showtime, ABC, USA Network, Disney, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Disney, and others. Around 2010 she launched the media investment fund Magnet Media, which included around 60 equity investors. She  financed and produced the thriller 13, starring Jason Statham, Academy Award ® winning actor Mickey Rourke, Sam Riley, Ray Winston, Michael Shannon and Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent (distributor: Paramount Vantage);  The Experiment, directed by Paul Scheuring, starring Academy Award ® winning actors Adrien Brody and Forrest Whitaker, as well as Cam Gigandet (US Distributor Sony Pictures); and Dark Tide, starring Academy Award ® winner Halle Berry, directed by John Stockwell (US distributor Lionsgate), among others. Since 2014 Jeanette B. Milio focuses on television series production and financing. She managed the TV series and brand Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, which aired for 10 seasons on the National Geographic Channel. She is the Executive Producer and Creator of the beauty competition series "Global Beauty Masters", which aired on TLC. She further executive produced its spin-off series The Look All-Stars, which airs on the CW Channel. At present Jeanette is developing a prime-time drama series, which is produced in Europe ion 2020. Jeanette recently financed and started production on two seasons of the one-hour reality TV series Dog Masters, which airs on Animal Planet in 2020. And, she is financing and producing a short film and related feature film entitled Comfort Zone starring Emmy and Tony Award-winning actor Jeffrey Scott Basham. Jeanette B. Milio is a member of the Producer’s Council for The Producers Guild of America, an executive member of Women in Film and a member of the Cannes Film Festival Producer’s Network. Furthermore, Jeanette B. Milio is an inspirational speaker for the Global Female Leaders’ Summit in Zurich and the co-founder of the Film Finance Forum Zurich. Jeanette B. Milio teaches Film and Television Financing, as part of UCLA’s online Entertainment Business Management Program. She recently published her first book on the subject entitled Entertainment Financing Today. Jeanette B. Milio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business (University Cologne, Germany), studied screenplay writing (USC, Los Angeles). Jeanette B. Milio is an expert and international speaker on subjects matters including film & television production, financing, and distribution, from the development and packaging of commercially viable motion picture & television content to successfully distributing them worldwide. Jeanette B. Milio resides in California with her husband and their three children, and She is a passionate yoga practitioner and holds a Yoga Alliance teaching certificate.

 

Dominique Telson is the producer and SVP of Development and Production at Astute Films, a privately funded motion picture financing and production company based in Los Angeles. She produced both large films like The Best of Enemies and Welcome to Pine Grove! and smaller festival indies like Premature and The Short History Of The Long Road. Prior to joining Astute Films, she served as a consultant for Canadian producers Chesler Perlmutter Productions and was instrumental in helping develop their holiday films. Telson was also a longtime VP of Original Programming at Showtime Network where she oversaw the development and production of various award-winning and critically acclaimed films such as The Devil's Arithmetic and Danny Glover's directorial debut Just A Dream. Telson has also always had a passion for creating opportunities for minorities, helping to create Showtime's Black Filmmaker Showcase which debuted shorts from previously unknown filmmakers such as Malcolm Lee.

 

Brian Beckmann, CFO, Arclight Films: Brian Beckmann’s prolific career profile includes 20 years’ experience as CFO, including 8 years at Arclight Films, working for start-up firms, as well as established companies ranging from small businesses to publicly traded companies. Beckmann has successfully led several companies through financial and operational turnarounds, managed all facets of a start-up organization and is an accomplished strategist within growth-oriented companies. Beckmann is executive producing the upcoming true-life prison escape story Escape From Pretoria starring Daniel Radcliffe, just wrapped filming on location in Australia and will be released by Momentum/E1 in North America. Beckmann is involved in Arclight Films’ slate including the acclaimed Hotel Mumbai starring Armie Hammer and Dev Patel, the Academy Award nominated First Reformed starring Ethan Hawke and Amanda Seyfried, and Jungle based on the harrowing true story of survival in the Amazon starring Daniel Radcliffe. He has worked in a variety of industries from film/entertainment, media/advertising, manufacturing, to advanced space technology.

 

Jarchow serves as Chairman of Here Media and Regent Entertainment. He is a well-regarded senior motion picture executive and producer with over 25 years of experience in successful real estate and entertainment ventures. Together with his long time business partner, Paul Colichman, he has been involved in the production and/or distribution of over 150 motion pictures and television series episodes, as well as the building of a library of over 3,500 motion pictures and television shows. Here Media produces and distributes niche content across all platforms worldwide. Its distribution platforms include theaters, television, broadband, online, print and mobile. It earns subscription, advertising and licensing revenue from its award winning content. Regent Entertainment is a producer and distributor of theatrical and television motion pictures. It has ongoing relationships with over 100 international distributors and broadcasters. Jarchow's motion picture, "Departures" received the 2008 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. Jarchow also produced "Gods and Monsters" directed by Bill Condon and starring Ian McKellen, Brendan Fraser and Lynn Redgrave, which received three Academy Award nominations (winning for Best Adapted Screenplay), four Golden Globe nominations (winning for Best Supporting Actress), three Independent Spirit Awards, and numerous other international accolades including Best Picture by the National Board of Review. "Twilight of the Golds" starring Brendan Fraser, Jennifer Beals, Faye Dunaway, Gary Marshall and Rosie O'Donnell won two Cable Ace Awards. Jarchow and his films have received extensive recognition in addition to the Academy Award, Golden Globe and GLAAD Media Awards, including Aurora Awards, Davey Awards, W3 Awards, the ACLU Pride Partnership Award, Outfest Awards, Omni Intermedia Awards, American Design Awards, Aegis Awards, Cine Awards, Communicator Awards, Creativity Awards, Hermes Awards, Telly Awards, Summit Mea Awards and many others. Jarchow received a BBA, MS and JD with Honors from the University of Wisconsin. He practiced tax and real estate law and subsequently was a partner in over 200 ventures with an international real estate development company and a senior managing director with an investment banking firm. Jarchow serves on the Board of Trustees of Otis College of Art and Design. He has taught Entertainment Law for many years and is the author of five books.

 

Justin Hochberg is the founder of Just Entertainment Inc. a Television and new media studio focusing on branded entertainment and reality TV with projects at half a dozen US networks and working with fortune 500 brands and digital agencies. Over the course of Hochberg's career he created and sold over 40 TV series and completed more than $112 million in product integration deals with broadcast and cable networks and over 150 of the world's leading brands including P&G, the NFL, Pepsi, Sports Illustrated, Royal Caribbean, Marquis Jet, Staples, DirecTV, Planet Hollywood Resorts, Fosters, Las Vegas Convention Visitors Bureau, Dick Clark's “Rockin New Years Eve”, Skype, Ask.com, Camping World, , Deutsch Advertising, NYC 2012, the N.Y.P.D., and Tony Winner “Kinky Boots”. Hochberg made TV headlines recently for guiding four different cable networks into reality programming for their first time, brokering over 20 different branding deals on them. Among them USA Network's first reality series, “The Moment”, hosted by Super Bowl MVP Kurt Warner and TNT's "The Great  Escape", an action-packed program Hochberg created and produced with Hollywood greats Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Bertram van Munster. In addition, this past summer he launched “Race to the Scene,” a movie themed competition series for the Reelz Channel hosted by Dolph Lundgren, which Hochberg engineered the sale of to a dozen countries before its US premiere, followed by CNBC's new #1 rated show, “The Profit”. Hochberg was recently nominated for the Critic's Choice Award for Best Reality Series and Real Screen's Best Documentary, and has been recognized as Hollywood Reporter's “50 Most Powerful Reality Producers”. Prior to entering the television industry, Hochberg served as Microsoft Corporation's Director of Business Development for Interactive TV, before becoming the company's Head of Business Development for its Digital Media TV efforts.

 

Adrian Alperovich is the Chief Operating Officer at MWM Studios (formerly OddLot Entertainment). As the COO, Alperovich oversees business operations for the company’s film and television divisions, as well as managing new business initiatives. For the past 25 years, Alperovich has worked in the entertainment industry with intimate involvement in the production, acquisition, distribution and financing of hundreds of projects. Prior to MWM Studios, he was the COO for Focus Features following tenure as the COO at FilmDistrict, and as the Senior Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions (SPWA), and the Senior Executive Vice President of International at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Alperovich is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and Cornell University. He started his professional career at publisher Bantam Books in the editorial department and later at the First National Bank of Chicago as part of their First Scholar program and then Corporate Banking Officer. He is an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and he lives in Los Angeles with his wife and 2 daughters.
