Lina Renzina leads the Ad Council’s talent engagement program (Creators for Good) which matches and maintains rich partnerships between traditional/digital talent and 40+ national fully integrated PSA campaigns including Love Has No Labels, Smokey Bear and Meals on Wheels volunteer recruitment. Her background in theatrical producing, marketing and talent management is a testament to a passion for the arts, accessibly reaching audiences and digital innovation.
Marc Berkman serves as the Executive Director of the Organization for Social Media Safety where he works to protect against all social media-related dangers through education, advocacy, and technology development. Previously, Marc
served for over a decade as a senior legislative aide and counsel for members of Congress and the California State Assembly. During his time as a policy advisor, Marc drafted and passed into law numerous, innovative pieces of legislation, including Jordan’s Law, the nation's first state law to deter social media motivated violence. Marc also has significant expertise and experience in child welfare and education having served as the Director of FosterEd: Los Angeles, an initiative of the National Center for Youth Law, where he successfully worked with Los Angeles County to improve educational outcomes for foster youth and as an attorney for foster youth clients in New York. Marc received his JD from Columbia Law School and his BA from UC Berkeley.
Donna Lamar, Global Executive Creative Director, Twitter: Twitter tapped Donna Lamar, a marketing creative director and production pro who most recently spent a year at Vice Media as group creative director, as the social network’s new executive creative director. It’s a return to Twitter for Lamar, who was creative director of Twitter’s #Studio from October 2016 to February 2018. During her previous tenure, she’s credited with crafting the voice of Twitter and building brand awareness as well as creating the structure for cross-functional brand and product teams in house. Lamar’s past gigs have included work for Apple’s Beats by Dre and management positions with TBWA\Chiat\Day and Wieden + Kennedy.
Shane Redsar, Director, Content and Strategy, Tiny Horse: Shane is an experienced leader in media with extensive knowledge in social media, production, and strategy. He has honed his skills across multiple forms of content; from live television shows like NBC's “The Voice" to blockbuster feature films such as Paramount's “Transformers: The Last Knight." Shane has inspired his teams to produce chart topping social content that drives engagement and moves the needle, with such accomplishments as making "American Idol" the '#1 Broadcast Social Show' and producing the first ever Facebook Live on a hot set with Michael Bay. He also understand the international media space, from licensing, to production and distribution. Shane has produced compelling social content for Univision, implemented an international live stream for Weibo and has traveled the globe with Emeril Lagasse producing exclusive behind-the-scenes content for the Amazon Video show, “Eat The World.” Shane is not only eager to handle todays needs, but also primed to discover what tomorrow’s media landscape will provide.
Nancy Yoon, Founder of Asians in LA/CEO, Yooniq Media: Nancy Yoon is the Founder of “Asians in LA,” a social network of Asian American influencers from politics, entertainment, nonprofit and community leaders and a PR media agency for the Asian American community in Southern California. She is also an actor, TV host, an Asian American influencer, community leader, and AAPI advocate with numerous years of experience working in entertainment, international & talent relations, media & communications, nonprofits, she is helping to push for diversity and inclusion for minorities including Asian Americans and women in entertainment, corporations, and boards. In entertainment, she worked for Disney in Corporate Planning and at Disney Channel in Talent Development & Casting with celebrities such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and N’Sync. At Fox Family, she was the Director of Marketing producing music specials and managing over 60 television shows. In front of the camera, Nancy has acted in numerous commercials, and top television shows including CSI and Days of our Lives. Her talent extends to hosting for the STARZ network and representing major corporate clients worldwide such as Adidas and Philips. Nancy is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (EMMYS), Tiffany Circle board of the American Red Cross, Anti-Defamation League’s (ADL) Glass Leadership Institute, ADL-AsianJewish Initiative,, PBS SoCal Asian American Community Council, Board Member of WICT, and L.A. Mayor Garcetti’s Film and TV Task Force. She and her husband also founded Europeans in LA, the largest social network of Europeans in Los Angeles.
