Dr. Coco Cabrel, MD, Reiki Master, Founder, L!festorm Calms: Dr. Coco, as her thousands of students affectionately call her, graduated from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and went straight into teaching and building higher education curricula that blended her lifelong professional experiences in the arts and health sciences. She mastered Reiki while using other complementary and alternative modalities to fully recover from a serious back injury, allowing her to return to flamenco dance performance and choreography stronger than ever. Coco has drawn from her interactive presentations on Workplace Burnout and self-care, as well as her department chair work in building happier, more productive teams, to create L!festorm Calms© -- her unique and original blend of 90-second focused body positions, directed breath, and internal vision cues derived from her experience in the performing and visual arts, energy work, yoga, meditation, and her inspirational style of teaching and team management. Coco also knows the entertainment industry well, with a husband who is IATSE and SAG-AFTRA, two sons who are SAG-AFTRA, a stage manager daughter, a sound designer son-in-law, and a computer scientist-microbrewer son. While living in Santa Fe, she was one of the inaugural 12 screenwriters in the New Mexico Filmmakers Intensive, an initiative to develop above-the-line talent in New Mexico. Coco served as “only AD” on an ultra-low-budget film before moving to LA to return to flamenco dance, health sciences professorships, higher ed administration – and ultimately wellness and burnout recovery through her Reiki work and L!festorm Calms© program, helping professionals achieve instant stress relief… and keep these skills for L!fe.

Iyan M. Bruce, Owner / Sound Therapist, Inner Harmonic – Neuroacoustic Medicine: Iyan Bruce is a sound therapist focusing in the area of Neuroacoustic Medicine, targeting stress and stress-related conditions. Utilizing the precise application of scientific sound, he is able to enhance brainwave function, achieve advanced brainwave entrainment and directly affect healing in the autonomic nervous system. Iyan discovered the healing power of scientific sound after developing a stress induced autoimmune condition. Seeking a drug-free alternative treatment, he met Dr. Jeffrey Thompson, a pioneer in the field of Neuroacoustics with over 30 years of clinical success. After healing his own nervous system, Iyan decided to train directly with Dr. Thompson to expand the reach of this revolutionary modality. Sound has been used for centuries in cultures around the world. Now, through science and modern technology, Iyan is able to apply a 21st century solution to a 21st century problem, delivering drug-free relief from stress, migraines and anxiety, as well as promoting deeper states of meditation and consciousness.

Anne Stockwell is an author, speaker, artist, and creative guide in the growing area of longterm cancer survivorship. A former Editor in Chief of The Advocate, Anne founded her nonprofit organization, Well Again, in 2014. Her mission is to help individuals chart their authentic path forward after the experience of cancer diagnosis and treatment, recognizing that “remission is not Well Again.” Anne’s mission reflects her own decade of active struggle with ovarian cancer and a second decade, in remission, navigating the joys, sorrow, victories, and defeats that reshape the inner world of every long-term survivor. Anne’s Well Again workshops combine the powers of story and art to help survivors and friends create a personal rite of passage, redeclaring our own identities as greater than our medical charts, and staking our claims to a future of wholeness and joy.
