Femke Wolting, Co Founder of Submarine is one of Holland's leading independent media producers. In 2000 she was one of the founders of Submarine, an independent transmedia production company, spanning film, animation, non-fiction and interactive genres. Submarine boasts a roster of award-winning productions created in collaboration with an extensive network of international creatives. Submarine produced among others such films as Peter Greenaway’s feature Rembrandt’s J’accuse, documentaries like Meet the Fokkens, internationally-distributed animation series such as Kika & Bob, and games that push new forms of storytelling, such as Collapsus (www.collapsus.com). Submarine has also created Submarinechannel.com, an online channel that pushes the boundaries of media to create beautiful hybrid projects. Hans Disch, Chief Strategy Officer 24i Media. Together with his friend and companion Martijn van Horssen, Hans founded 24i Media in 2009. Recognized and rewarded as an innovative and disruptive media technology startup, 24i has grown into a thought and market leader in engineering TV apps on all devices, screens and platforms: from set top boxes and SmartTV’s to gaming consoles and mobile devices. 24i creates and maintains state-of-the-art TV apps for leading broadcasters and operators, like RTL, FOX and KPN, in the Netherlands, and abroad. Previously, Hans headed FilmPartners International, a reality show workflow facilities specialist, and directed its sale to the Euro Media Group in 2007. George Freriks, chairman of the Holland Hollywood Connection, moderator: George Freriks born in The Hague, The Netherlands has been working his whole career in the media industry on the edge of business development and innovation. He has worked on the forefront of a lot of innovative developments in the media industry. Since 1997 he works as a consultant with an international customer base (SES Astra, Philips, KPN, Sony, Consolidated Media Industries). He is the founder of the Dutch Media Hub and chairman of the Holland Hollywood Connection, a network that stimulates business between Dutch and US media companies. He is a member of the TV Academy and on the advisory board of the Interactive TV Alliance. He has a vast knowledge and network and consults frequently regarding the impact of digital media on traditional media and assists companies by looking for new digital innovations. He is a frequently asked speaker and chairman of events. He has managed around 10 transactions in buying and selling companies and financing and organizes tours about innovation which brought him into China, Japan, Korea and the United States.
