James Bond and drove investment in gaming company Kabam. Previously, Jennifer built Amazon’s Textbook business from the ground up, worked with the Walmart executive team to maximize the impact of media to drive omnichannel sales and frequency, and led monetization of Conduit’s 250m unique users. Jennifer advises startups (Bubbli acquired by DropBox), Stanford’s StartX accelerator, and the Claremont McKenna Silicon Valley Program. She's a graduate of Stanford Business School and Chairs the Electronic Retail Association's Digital Media Council.

 

Neil Patel comes with over 20 years experience as an executive and an entrepreneur in the advertising, media and entertainment industries. His work has consisted of various roles at blue chip ad agencies, an entertainment executive on the Disney corporate staff and as a co-founder of a firm that was subsequently acquired by a unit of Interpublic Group.  Neil has served in several capacities, including high-level business development roles and as a marketing strategist in companies he has advised and also operated. In recent years, Neil has focused on developing ad supported, digital media platforms with an emphasis on mobile content and applications and has originated several mobile advertising patents while consulting with Disney Imagineering’s Research and Development arm. During his career Neil has worked on a number of brands including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Coca cola, Gatorade, Pepsi, Mazda, Nissan, GM, Energizer, Exxon, Northrup Grumman, Blue Cross, MetLife, Disney, Universal Studios, Sony Playstation and many others

 

Nick Wooten, Senior Director of Marketing, VideoAmp: Nick is the Director of Marketing & Accounts and is responsible for driving the business growth and brand strategy and oversees operations for marketing, communications, accounts and sales departments. Fresh out of college, Nicholas moved quickly from an intern to lead strategist, eventually starting his own media LLC where he launched Google Checkout. Over the past decade Nicholas has provided marketing solutions for over 40+ household brands, managed media and strategy departments at both large and small agencies, while launching two media operations of his own. He’s well versed in all traditional forms of advertising, as well as a pioneer in emerging media. Google, Redbull, Microsoft, Clorox, PopChips, and ebay are few of the brands to utilize his services. He’s won out of home awards, digital marketing awards, industry honors and multiple bowling league championships.

 

Jason Bercovici, Manager, Product Strategy and Operations, Exponential: As Exponential’s manager, product strategy and operations, Jason Bercovici responsible for leading product management, external go-to-market strategy and internal operations for Exponential’s video engagement solutions. Prior to this role, Jason held sales roles at TubeMogul and zVents. Jason holds a BS for International Business from the University of Maryland.

 

Jeff Suhy, President & Founder, ModOp: Jeff is the President and co-founder of ModOp.  He is responsible for building the strategic function at ModOp from the ground up. He oversees all brand, digital, media and interactive operations for the agency. His breadth and depth of experience across the advertising, music and technology industries provides a unique creative insight into building cohesive digital narratives for some of the world’s top brands including, Belvedere Vodka, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Nike and Ubisoft. Jeff began his career in the music industry working his way up at A&R and promoted to Vice President while representing top artists such as Soundgarden. As the music industry experienced radical change with the advent of streaming music, Jeff launched Nine Systems, a technology company dedicated to developing software platforms for entertainment companies. In 2006, Nine Systems was acquired by Akamai Technologies, one of the world's largest content delivery network providers for media and software delivery.  With a unique hybrid of entertainment and technology experience, Jeff joined Zoic in 2009 to help media companies solve the riddle of how to market to consumers in the digital media era. Jeff worked with advertising agencies and gaming clients to build meaningful online media experiences. Jeff is a hobbiest to no end. He spends his time designing and building (award-winning) furniture and homes, cycling across Europe and enjoying classic cars.

 

Robert Cain is a partner in film co-production company Pacific Bridge Pictures, and Founder /Publisher of ChinaFilmBiz, a blog focused on China’s filmed entertainment industry. He has worked for more than 25 years in Hollywood and the global entertainment industry, primarily as a production, finance, strategy and creative development expert. He has been doing business in China since 1987, where his producing and entertainment management experience includes: Production of the TV broadcast Three Tenors in the Forbidden City; Development and production executive on the 2008 Academy Award nominated film Mongol; Consulting Producer on the film Shanghai Kiss starring Kelly Hu and Hayden Panettiere; Currently consulting to major Hollywood studios, animation companies and talent agencies on China matters; past Chinese consulting clients include Shanghai Media Group, CCTV, China Film Group, and others. Rob’s film experience extends from finance and distribution management to creative duties on more than a dozen successful films, including such critical and commercial successes as The Usual Suspects, Breakdown, Bound, Blade 2, and Cabin Fever.  He is Executive Producer of Laura Smiles, which premiered in the 2005 Tribeca Film Festival, of The Amateurs, a comedy starring Jeff Bridges, and he set up the film Mongol, an action epic about the early life of Genghis Khan that was nominated for a 2008 Academy Award for best foreign language film. He is Executive Producer of the horror trilogy Abattoir, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II, III and IV), which is funded by Chinese investors. Rob has consulted to most of Hollywood’s major studios and talent guilds, and worked as a senior executive at talent-based companies such as Danny DeVito’s Jersey Films and Aaron Spelling’s Spelling Entertainment in formulating and executing business plans to expand their operations.  His corporate clients have included Universal Studios, MGM, Sony Pictures Entertainment, DirecTV, NBC, the BBC, the Screen Actors Guild, Kodak, New Line Cinema, Mattel and others. An award-winning screenwriter, Rob holds a bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard University and an MBA degree with honors from the Wharton School of Business.
