Jenn Deering Davis is co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Union Metrics, the company behind TweetReach and several other social media analytics products. Union Metrics makes social media analytics applications, including TweetReach, Union Metrics for Tumblr and Union Metrics for Instagram. Her main responsibilities are ensuring a consistent and excellent customer experience, managing Union Metrics communications and product messaging, with some data wrangling and research thrown in. She holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Communication and Technology from the University of Texas at Austin. Her academic research focuses on how people interact with and through communication technologies like mobile phones and social new media, specifically in organizational contexts. She has 15 years of industry and academic experience in communication, spending her career turning data into stories and helping stakeholders better understand new technology. Prior to co-founding Union Metrics, Jenn worked at the University of Texas, North Carolina State University, All Kinds of Minds and UPS.

 

Newton Lee, Editor-in-Chief of ACM Computers in Entertainment: Newton Lee graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. and M.S. degree in Computer Science, and he earned a perfect GPA from Vincennes University with an A.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an honorary doctorate in Computer Science. He has done pioneering work at AT&T Bell Laboratories, The Walt Disney Company, Institute for Defense Analyses, and Virginia Tech Library Systems, among others. He is the coauthor of "Disney Stories: Getting to Digital," author of the Total Information Awareness book series including "Facebook Nation" and "Counterterrorism and Cybersecurity," and editor/coauthor of the Digital Da Vinci book series including "Computers in Music" and "Computers in the Arts and Sciences." He is also the curator of the Springer International Series on Applications and Trends in Computer Science, creator of the Read Me First book series, and editor-in-chief of ACM Computers in Entertainment.

Carmen Sutter, Product Manager, Adobe Social, Digital Marketing, Adobe: Carmen Sutter is a Product Manager for Adobe Social, focusing on data collection and analytics, helping customers gain insights from their social marketing efforts. She is a board member of the Big Boulder Initiative (bigboulderinitiative.org), the world’s first social data-focused industry association. Prior to joining Adobe, she led the digital analytics teams at Warner Music Group and Scholastic in New York City. A native of Germany, Sutter moved to Salt Lake City from New York City for her position at Adobe and is trying to take full advantage of the great Utah outdoors.
