2013 the channel launched on the UK’s Sky Channel 292 and EuroSat channel 410. In 2014, she gained oversight as SVP, Programming for two new company acquisitions: FilmOn Media Licensing and Hologram USA.

 

Randa Minkarah, Managing Partner, Marketing, OneAccord Digital: Currently, Ms. Minkarah is a Managing Partner of Marketing for OneAccord Digital, where she has responsibility for website transformations and all aspects of digital marketing. With 20 plus years experience in executive and sales leadership in television, radio and digital media, she is recognized for driving new thinking, growth, and change within companies. In addition to her role at OAD, she serves as an advisor to platform startups that focus on monetizing content and building audiences. Prior to OAD she served as Senior Vice President of Revenue and Business Development for Fisher Communications, Inc. where she held a series of roles of increasing responsibility, including leading the interactive business unit, purchasing programming for all stations and developing business and market initiatives to diversify revenues and increase shareholder value. Ms. Minkarah is an active and energetic member of multiple professional and community boards. She is a regular contributor to broadcast and digital conference and panel discussions. She earned her BFA in Broadcasting from the University of Cincinnati.

 

David Price, Head of TV Business Development, Ericsson:  David Price plays a key role in driving the development of Ericsson’s global TV business, helping service providers deliver next-generation, multi-screen TV services. David resides in both the US and the UK and served as President of the MPEG Industry Forum until 2012. Prior to Ericsson, David served as Vice President at Harmonic Inc. and is the author of the book "MPEG: Systems, Technologies and Operations" published in 2012. He was selected in 2003, 2004 and 2006 as one of the "Euro 50" by Cable & Satellite Europe magazine, which celebrates those who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and vision in their fields. He has an MBA from CIT and has an Honors Bachelor’s degree in Cybernetics, Instrument Physics and Mathematics.

 

Marc Pariser, Founder/CEO, ShowBizCentral: Marc Pariser has over 25 years experience successfully representing writers, directors, producers, production companies, and comedians as a television packaging agent at The William Morris Agency, Creative Artists Agency, and  his own boutique literary agency.  In addition, Marc spent some time as Executive Vice President, Creative Affairs for Shukovsky English Entertainment, producers of Murphy Brown, Love and War, and other 1/2 hour primetime comedies for CBS.  Currently Marc is founder/CEO of ShowBizCentral, a revolutionary new online and mobile platform to help people who work in film, television and digital media manage their clients, projects, and careers more effectively.

 

Malachi Bierstein is SVP Sales & Marketing for Saffron Digital in the Americas. Based in California, Bierstein is responsible for driving Saffron Digital’s commercial strategy for the Americas and developing its premium online video platform in the region.  Bierstein has a long history in the digital media space. He joins Saffron Digital from Rovi Corporation, where he was head of worldwide DivX licensing, the core business of the company’s delivery and display division.  In that capacity, he lead a global sales and support team that worked with all levels of the supply chain including service providers, content owners, integrators, OEM’s, and IC vendors to enhance the delivery of digital video across all platforms.  He previously held senior level positions at both Sonic Solutions and DivX where he continually grew revenue and created new markets that were key to DivX going public in 2006 and then being acquired by Sonic Solutions in 2010.

 

AUDRA PRILUCK, Vice President, Media & Entertainment, GfK North America:  With experience in television production, syndication sales, and over a decade of experience in primary market research, Audra currently serves as Vice President, Consulting of GfK's Media & Entertainment Industry Group. In her role, Audra collaborates with TV network and studio clients in the US and internationally, using primary and secondary research to answer key business strategy issues.   Earlier in her career, Audra conducted television program syndication sales for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution in the Western Region, including The People’s Court, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Extra and Friends. She worked at 20th Television as their television program syndication sales trainee and research analyst, responsible for analysis of shows including Divorce Court, The Practice, Cops, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Malcolm in the Middle.  Audra began her television production career working for TBS in the 1980’s and 1990’s. During college and for several years following, she was behind the scenes on several Emmy-winning programs such as Mad About You, The King of Queens, The Young and The Restless, Arli$$ and J.A.G.  Since 2000, Audra has been an active member of the Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences (ATAS). She is an appointed member of the ATAS Foundation's New Leadership Council since 2005, and previously served on the ATAS Interactive Media Peer Group's Executive Committee in 2011.   Audra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.

 

James M. Burger, Partner, Thompson Coburn LLP: Jim is a member of the Thompson Coburn Lobbying & Policy and Intellectual Property Groups. He has worked extensively on legal and policy issues arising from the intersection of digital technology, intellectual property protection, communications, and government regulation. Jim has represented the Computer Industry Group and other information technology entities in efforts to secure copy protection rules for DVDs, Blu-ray discs and digital music downloads. He has also represented technology clients before the Administration, Congress, and the FCC in regard to the Digital TV Transition, the Broadcast Flag, and international agreements affecting U.S. intellectual property law. His efforts in the copyright law arena include his work leading negotiations to exclude the computer industry from the Audio Home Recording Act, to avoid passage of the Digital Video Recording Act, and prevent passage of analog hole legislation. In addition, Jim has worked with the semiconductor industry in its efforts to prevent the importation of dangerous counterfeit semiconductors. Jim served seven years as an adjunct professor at the University of Virginia Law School, where he taught Advanced Administrative Law.

Kim Hurwitz, SVP, Programming, FilmOn.TV Networks, Inc.; For ten years, Kim Hurwitz led the TCI and Adelphia sales and marketing teams for Cable, Broadband, & VOD in the greater Los Angeles area, and co-founding the SoCal PPV Cable Group, serving as President for two years.  In 2001, she became Director of Marketing at DIRECTV, responsible for a $500M P&L, returning in 2009. Between DIRECTV stints, Ms. Hurwitz was the Affiliate Relations Director for The Tube Music Network managing 90 TV stations and cable retransmission for the ground-breaking multicast channel. Since 2010, Kim has served as SVP, Programming for FilmOn.TV, a global IPTV platform where she has acquired more than 500 IPTV linear, VOD and podcast channels. In 2012 she added programming and scheduling duties for the FilmOn TV Network on KILM-TV. In
