JP Lee, Executive Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships, Enswers Inc.: As Chief Executive VP of Corporate Development, JP oversees the strategic direction and global business development at Enswers. Prior to joining Enswers, JP was the Vice President of Business Development at Gretech, where he commercialized and drove the development of GOM TV, the largest online VOD service in Korea. JP was instrumental in funding led by CJ, negotiating multi-million dollar technology licensing deals with Google, Intel, and Warner Brothers. JP’s previous experience includes Executive Director at Softbank Korea and Founder and CEO of a start-up company named Evixar, which developed and provided the largest PC remote control service in Japan. Currently, the head office of Evixar in Korea has been acquired by Dacom in 2004. JP studied at KAIST, majoring in Computer Science.

 

Diane Bernard, CEO of FLM.TV is a 25 year veteran as a Technology Trade Journals Publicist, Marketing & Social Media Agency Partner, Technologist and Entertainment Executive at Dianton Productions. Her experience as a Agency Partner working with Fortune 500 - 1000 companies in Advanced Cloud, Video, Semiconductors, Mobile and Entertainment has created innovation for a new social distribution, entertainment, brands and viewership model. She is an advocate and speaker for the growing evolution of the "social multiplier" which is driven though a method of social metrics, value attributes and revenue. Her work on key social media insights have led to innovative new ways to drive sales and viewership in digital entertainment.

 

Colas Overkott, CEO, Visiware:  After starting as a strategy consultant, Colas joined TF1, France’s leading broadcast group, as Eurosport’s founding VP of advertising,  then VP of International of TF1, and finally co-founder and MD of e-TF1, the leading entertainment property. After joining the VOD-software startup Lysis as CEO and selling it to Kudelski, he went to Germany as EVP of SCM Microsystems (creator of the DVB-CI and CableCard). Since 2006, he has been the CEO of Visiware, provider of the leading 2nd-screen content solution Sync2TV, which has powered 2500 shows in 26 countries, and Sync2Ad, the new 2nd-screen advertising solution.

 

Al Cadena, senior account director and digital strategist at Beeby Clark + Meyler: has worked in digital marketing and advertising for over 10 years, developing programs for clients such as Nestle, Disney, General Electric, Marriott, Sony, Steven Spielberg's Shoah Foundation, and others. He has worked in all aspects of digital, including production, creative, accounts, strategy, and analytics. Al has been tapped by Nestle USA and Michigan State University to teach classes on social media and "What's new in digital," and is a Jeopardy returning champion. He holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management.

 

Jeremy Toeman, CEO, Dijit Media: a venture-funded startup whose vision is to create the ultimate "four screen" social entertainment experience. Jeremy has over 11 years experience in the convergence of digital media, mobile entertainment, social entertainment, smart TV and consumer technology. He has a proven track record of designing and delivering award-winning products and technologies to the connected home. Prior to Dijit, Jeremy was a founding partner of Stage Two, a firm providing product design, UX, and marketing services to consumer technology companies. Jeremy was key to many successes for Boxee, VUDU, Clicker.com, and many other consumer technology companies. Prior to Stage Two, Jeremy was Vice President of Product Management at Sling Media (acquired by EchoStar in 2007) where he was responsible for guiding the Slingbox from conception through launch, including user experience for the SlingPlayer PC and mobile. The Slingbox won numerous industry awards, including a technology Emmy and a 2005 CES “Best Home Media Networking” honor. In 1999, Jeremy was the Founding Vice President of Product Management at Mediabolic (acquired by Rovi Corp in 2007), a software company whose digital media networking technology was widely licensed by consumer electronics firms and computer manufacturers. At Mediabolic, Jeremy designed several convergence products for a range of companies including Pioneer, Fujitsu, Creative Labs, HP and Denon (which specifically included the 2004 CES “Overall Best of Show” multi-room DVR system). Jeremy also sat on the steering committees for DLNA and the UPnP AV Working Group. Jeremy is also a technology innovator, and has launched numerous Web businesses, including NudgeMail and Legacy Locker. Jeremy holds a B.S. in Economics and Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University. He is from Montreal, Canada and lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children. Go Habs!

 

David Bloom advises on communications strategy, media relations and social media for prominent companies, institutions and individuals in politics, technology, entertainment and business. Bloom previously was associate dean and chief communications officer for the USC Marshall School of Business, and vice president of corporate communications at movie studio MGM Inc. He previously worked 20 years as an award-winning journalist for such publications as Variety, Red Herring, the Los Angeles Daily News and the Dallas Times Herald.  Bloom writes regularly on technology, media, politics and art at the blogs Bloom’s Day and Post Mad Bills; guest lectures at USC, Pepperdine and Chapman University, and is a frequent moderator and panelist at conferences such as Digital Hollywood, Ad:Tech, Produced By, NATPE and OMMA. He is vice president of the Board of Directors of Outpost for Contemporary Art.
