The company’s census-level audience data combined with its leading addressable TV advertising solutions provides marketers a high level of precision in delivering the right messages, to the right audiences.  Before becoming President of Cablevision Media Sales, Mr. Tatta served for nearly a decade as Senior Vice President of New Business Development for Cablevision. In this role, he developed new, advanced advertising capabilities, products and technology partnerships. Before joining Cablevision, Mr. Tatta led digital media, advertising, and e-commerce initiatives for several leading media and technology companies including Walt Disney/ABC, USA Networks, Lagardere Media, and IBM. Mr. Tatta was also a founding member of Concrete Media, one of the first commercial web development firms in the U.S.  Mr. Tatta received a B.A in Economics from Villanova University and currently lives in New York City with his wife and two children.

 

Nelson Freitas, Chief of Strategy, Wunderman New York:  Nelson Freitas is a matchmaker for the brand and the consumer. For nearly two decades, he’s done it for a diverse range of Fortune 500 brands, such as Procter & Gamble, Adidas, Coca-Cola and Roche, through strategies that have achieved results. By listening intently to the marketplace, Nelson builds strategic frameworks for brands that make them stand out today—and tomorrow. At Wunderman New York, Nelson pairs his skills with our creative and analytic teams to deliver campaigns that spur action and lead to loyalty. Together, they look to build exciting opportunities for the consumer to connect to the brand (maybe even fall in love with the brand). Before arriving at Wunderman, Nelson was Chief Strategy Officer for Creative Realities. Prior to that, he was the founder/owner of Clear Skies Ahead, a strategy and insight shop, where he set client partners on a winning path. He earned his agency pedigree at Ogilvy, Chiat\Day and Saatchi & Saatchi.  As well as being a winner of numerous Effie Awards, Nelson has served as a judge of the Effie Awards. He’s also served as a judge of the 4A’s Jay Chiat Awards for Strategic Planning. Nelson has also taught at Columbia University in the Graduate Communications Program.

 

Tom Goodwin, SVP Strategy and Innovation, Havas Media, N.A.:  Tom Goodwin recently joined Havas Media, N.A. as SVP Strategy & Innovation, a newly created role at the agency, and works alongside chief strategy and development officer, Greg James, to guide high-level strategy and content efforts. Tom came from The Tomorrow Group, of which he was the founder and served as the director of the agency. Prior to founding Tomorrow, Tom served as director, partner development, at IPG Media Lab, and before that, Tom led new business development and strategy for companies including HUGE Inc. and Lowe Worldwide, holding global roles based in the U.K. and U.S. A passionate futurist and technology trend forecaster, Tom is responsible for the Western world’s first QR code-based campaign, developed the first interactive digital outdoor ad and marketed the world's first mobile app while working on the global Nokia account.  Later at Tomorrow he invented the pull to refresh mobile ad unit.

 

Shannon O’Neill is the President of Travel Channel, part of Scripps Interactive. In this role, he’s responsible for building brand strategy, developing additional programming and talent to increase ratings and creating new business opportunities for Travel Channel. He previously served as Travel Channel’s senior vice president and chief financial officer, where he was responsible for the core financial reporting, strategy and analysis function, as well as the overall digital strategy and operations for the brand.  Prior to joining Travel Channel, Shannon served as senior vice president and general manager of Golf Channel’s new media business from 2007-10.  Under his direction, Golf Channel’s new media business grew from single-digit revenues to over $50mm.  Prior to joining Golf Channel, Shannon served as vice president, emerging networks for Comcast Programming Group where he was responsible for developing and launching new media businesses.  His final project with Comcast was the launch of FEARnet, the first multi-platform horror network, in partnership with Sony and Lionsgate.  Prior to joining Comcast and Golf Channel, Shannon co-founded a startup venture which developed a proprietary system for capturing, filtering and tagging financial information on the web.  He began his career in the Philadelphia office of Ernst & Young.  Shannon is a CPA and received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware. He, his wife Dawn and their daughter Devin live in Bethesda, Md.

 

SCOTT SCHILLER, Executive Vice President of Digital Advertising Sales, NBCUniversal: Scott Schiller serves as Executive Vice President, Digital Advertising Sales for NBCUniversal. In this role he leads digital advertising sales for the Company’s broadcast, cable and entertainment lifestyle brands, including News and Hispanic.  Schiller also works closely with NBCUniversal’s broadcast networks and cable teams to drive innovation throughout the Company with unique advertising sales products, including Social Synch.   Schiller has more than 30 years of marketing, sales management, start-up and media experience, having held positions at iconic worldwide entertainment brands such as: AOL, Disney, MTV Networks, Prodigy and Sony.  He is a founder and four-time board member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), and was its first vice-chairman. Schiller currently serves as the Commission Chair for the IAB’s Digital Media Sales Certification program, which has enrolled over 5000 applicants in three years.  Schiller earned his BA in Economics from Cornell University. He has an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he created and led a class in Managing Interactive Media. Additionally, he has been a member of the New Media Committee for Lincoln Center in New York, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. A lifelong resident of New York City (that makes him a Yankee fan); he currently lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan with his wife and two teenage boys.

 

Shahid Khan, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board, MediaMorph, Inc.:  Shahid Khan is an acclaimed thought leader, consultant and entrepreneur in the Digital Media industry, with a tremendous twenty-year track-record. Shahid is the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board of MediaMorph, the leading global provider of Cloud-based Software and Big-Data provider for content creators, programmers and distributors, with offerings including cross-platform media tracking, audience measurement, analytics, licensing and royalties management services.  Mediamorph’s clients include Comcast, Dish, Cablevision, Mediacom, NBCU, HBO, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Starz, Warner Bros, AMC, BBC Worldwide, Epix, Vevo and many others.  Mediamorph’s investors include Google, Liberty Global and Smedvig Capital.  Shahid is the Managing Partner for MAG (Meridian Advisory Group, LLC), a premier boutique management consulting firm that focuses on the entire Content Ecosystem, from Media firms to Device firms to Cable MSOs and Telcos.  At MAG, Shahid leads strategy, vision and sales, while managing major client relationships and strategy engagements.  As a sought-after consultant and industry advisor, Shahid works w/ senior management at leading Media, Entertainment, and Cable companies, including Liberty Global, Charter, Scholastic, Conde Nast, Cablevision, Motorola, A&E, Barnes & Noble and Disney.  In addition, Shahid leverages his expertise in the industry, as well as his relationships across the industry ecosystem players to incubate and invest in new ventures.  Under Shahid’s leadership, MAG was selected by Consulting Magazine as one of its “Seven Small Jewels” for 2014, an annual award given to small, high-growth consulting and advisory firms. Prior to embarking upon his entrepreneurship forays, Shahid played senior executive roles at leading consulting and technology firms.   He has served as Senior Partner at IBB Consulting, a leading consulting firm serving Cable, Mobile and Media companies; Managing Director and Head of Entertainment and Information Services industry practices at KPMG Consulting/BearingPoint and Partner at IBM Global Services in Communication Industry. Shahid holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and is a Fellow at U. Penn’s Wharton School of Business.  Shahid was named as one of the “50 Outstanding Asian Americans in Business” in 2014 by the Asian American Business Development Center in the US.  He is also a member of Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).  As an expert in Media, Shahid frequently appears on TV interviews with CNBC and Bloomberg TV; is often quoted in leading publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, the New York Times, etc.; and is a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences, including CES, Media Summit, Rutberg, Monaco Media Forum, Abu Dhabi Media Summit, etc.  Shahid is an active investor and advisor to Silicon Valley start-ups in the Digital and Technology arena.  He serves on the Advisory Boards of Kaybus, Guavus, FanKave and Secret Builders.  He also serves on the Boards of two non-profit organizations, OPEN and Developments in Literacy.

 

Kevin Conroy serves as chief strategy & data officer and president, Enterprise Development for Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America. In his new, expanded role, Mr. Conroy is focused on the rapid intersection of media and technology and leads UCI’s efforts in the areas of data, next generation measurement and consumer insights. Mr. Conroy is also responsible for leading the Company’s Enterprise Development team, which is focused on identifying and incubating new business opportunities across UCI’s diverse portfolio of brands to create products and services that empower and enrich the quality of life for Hispanic consumers. Mr. Conroy’s additional responsibilities include leading the Company’s Corporate Research and Strategy & Insight teams.  Previously, he was president, Digital and Enterprise Development, successfully leading the significant growth of the Company’s digital business. Under Mr. Conroy’s leadership, the Company launched the first-ever bilingual digital video network, UVideos, and digital audio product, Uforia. With UVideos and Uforia, Univision provides a young, tech savvy audience with content whenever and wherever they want it on the devices of their choosing. Mr. Conroy also led the rollout of a new modernized on-demand and live-streaming digital video platform and responsive CMS design. Mr. Conroy has developed and managed partnerships with leading technology companies, content producers and mobile developers to expand and enhance user experiences on Univision’s digital platforms and on an array of internet connected devices, significantly expanding the Company’s mobile offerings.  Additionally, under Mr. Conroy’s direction, the Enterprise Development team has successfully grown Tarjeta Univision, a reloadable prepaid card for Hispanics; Univision’s Farmacia, the leading Hispanic pharmacy discount program; ¿Qué Crees? con Univision, a consumer survey product; Crédito y Más, the first bilingual full-service credit monitoring/reporting product; and Univision Mobile, a pioneering prepaid wireless service created specifically for Hispanic Americans.  Mr. Conroy has more than 20 years of advertising, digital and media experience, having held a number of senior programming, product, marketing, distribution and operations roles. Mr. Conroy has led large global teams of content programmers, designers, Web developers and software engineers, building consumer websites, software and mobile applications, and has managed a number of popular Web brands, including AOL, AIM, ICQ, Moviefone, Netscape, Spinner and Winamp.  Before joining Univision, Mr. Conroy spent eight years at AOL, most recently as executive vice president of Global Products and Marketing, where he oversaw the successful development of AOL’s desktop, Mobile and IPTV products for the U.S. and 30 countries around the globe. He also oversaw the company’s marketing strategies, new distribution models and partnerships. Prior to that, he held several other senior positions at AOL including executive vice president and chief operating officer of AOL for Broadband and senior vice president and general manager of AOL Entertainment. Among many successes at AOL, Mr. Conroy is credited with the revitalization of AOL’s products for the Mac and iOS platforms, including the award-winning AOL Radio for iPhone. His accomplishments also include building AOL Music, launching AOL Sessions and AOL’s online radio offerings, as well as establishing a partnership with CBS Radio to create the largest online radio network.  Prior to AOL, Mr. Conroy was chief marketing officer and president of New Technology at BMG Entertainment, a division of Bertelsmann AG, where he was responsible for overseeing all marketing and new media development for BMG’s businesses, as well as managing the worldwide marketing campaigns for some of the world’s biggest artists. Prior to BMG Entertainment, he was vice president, marketing at CBS/FOX Video.  Mr. Conroy was recognized by Broadcasting & Cable as a Digital All-Star, on CableFAX’s 2014 and 2015 Digital Hot List and lauded as one of Digital Media Wire’s “25 Executives to Watch.” Mr. Conroy and his team led the effort for Univision to be named the “Best Digital Television Group” in 2013 and “Team of the Year” in 2014 by Cynopsis Digital. The Company was honored seven times at the 2014 Social TV Awards, including the “Best Broadcast Network” award. He has also been named one of the top 100 Business Leaders by Irish America Magazine for the past two years.  He serves on the boards of The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Digital Content Next (formerly the Online Publishers Association), Newell Rubbermaid (NWL) and Sotheby’s (BID).   He is a graduate of Bowdoin College.
