Rahul Mehrotra, Senior Product Strategist, Clearbridge Mobile:  As a passionate technologist, Rahul helps clients bring the next generation of media and broadcasting mobile applications to their customers.  In his role as Senior Product Strategist at Clearbridge Mobile, Rahul oversees the strategy and product development of custom media applications. Under his leadership Clearbridge has created mobile applications in video on demand, connected TV and TV everywhere, for clients including Disney, ABC, NBC and many other Fortune 500 companies.  Rahul holds a B.ASc in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

Jens Loeffler, Principal Technical Evangelist for Video Solutions, Adobe:  Jens Loeffler is a principal technical evangelist on Adobe Primetime’s product management team focusing on online video and services – including content delivery and monetization across IP-connected devices. Equipped with a media computer science degree, Jens started his career in the agency world and has been living and breathing online video and mobile for the last decade. Currently, Jens provides thought leadership as a public speaker and panelist at numerous industry events, and maintains a well-recognized blog (Overdigital.com) covering industry trends. Michael Goodman, Director, Digital Media Strategies, is an accomplished analyst with nearly 20 years’ experience providing critical market intelligence and strategic direction to executives navigating an increasingly complex, connected world. Michael Goodman provides clients with strategic insight on the evolution of digital media for the Strategy Analytics Digital Media Strategies Service (DMS), which assists companies in adapting to the changes occurring in the distribution, consumption and monetization of video, music, and games. Key areas of research include OTT video, video games, advertising, and digital music.  Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Goodman founded Nexus Research Group, a research and consulting firm focused on the intersection of technology, media, and communications. Prior to that, Goodman was VP, Global Research Operations at Kantar Retail, where he managed retail analysts across multiple practice areas including Food, Drug, Mass, Value Discounters, Home Improvement and Digital. Goodman also, served as Senior Director, Research & Analytics at Mercury Media where he provided strategic vision, planning, and actionable recommendations for all areas of performance-based advertising. Prior to Mercury Media, Goodman spent nine years at the Yankee Group and held several positions at Nielsen Media Research (now known as The Nielsen Company).  Goodman holds a BS in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from Boston University.

 

Chris Wagner, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder, NeuLion: Chris Wagner, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder, NeuLion: Chris has been a driving force in the technology industry for over 20 years and has worked closely with executives from many major corporations and entrepreneurs who have relied on technology to support the growth of their businesses. His current position as Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of NeuLion targets the revolution currently underway as the television and internet video industries converge. Chris has held numerous executive positions in the technology sector. Over the last seven years the growth of internet television on computers, tablets, mobile, and internet connected devices, has given Chris an opportunity to work closely with the largest brands in the sports and entertainment industry; the NFL, NHL, UFC, NBA, Rainbow Media, Dish Network and many others. He has also worked with several private equity and venture capital firms as their Chief Executive Officer, which includes Metiom, MetaMatrix, Exchange Applications and Digital Harbor. Chris has been on the Board of Directors of all of these companies. Chris has worked with some of the top names in technology. At Forstmann Little he worked with Erskine Bowles, former Chief of Staff for President Bill Clinton; while at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, he worked with Ray Lane, Managing Partner; and for 20 years has worked with Charles Wang, founder of Computer Associates. Chris' relationship with Charles Wang, and Computer Associates' former Chief Technology Officer, Nancy Li, created an opportunity to form NeuLion, where he is responsible for the strategy and execution of the company's marketplace efforts. The world is changing as it relates to digital media. Content owners have more leverage than ever as they move to IP based distribution. NeuLion has become a leader in creating new experiences for consumers with a fantastic array of interactive services delivered over the internet. Chris has been a frequent speaker at conferences, tradeshows, and industry events. Specialties include: sales and marketing, competitive analysis, financing, franchising, mergers and acquisition.

 

Steve Ehrlich, Business Development, Hewlett Packard: Previously, Mr Ehrlich was the President & CEO of SEE Media focusing on Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Previous to starting SEE Media, Mr. Ehrlich oversaw strategic direction & sales for Verizon Digital Media Services which provided a utility for the media industry. He supported the creation of new business models with cross platform delivery leveraging the network and dynamic advertising technologies with data base analytics. Ehrlich was at IBM for over 20 years where he was leading sales in the Global Media and Entertainment practice. In that position his responsibilities included global oversight of media-related consulting projects including due diligence efforts for mergers and acquisitions, development of business strategies for new technology ventures such as video on demand and broadband with the creation of comprehensive anti-piracy strategies for motion picture studios and trade associations. He also devised plans for companies to offer on demand electronic sell-through for movies, cable television networks, television programming and music. Ehrlich held leading positions at interactive and Internet businesses within IBM where he managed all aspects of new media business, including content, sales, business and technology development, and distribution. While at IBM, Ehrlich successfully launched web businesses of the most visible global brands in sports which included PGA, PGA Tour, NHL, NBA ,USTA and NFL. Ehrlich has worked in both strategic planning and was responsible for the operations, business plans, creative direction and distribution of IBM Sports Division. He rejoined IBM in 1994 as manager, Strategic Planning where he spearheaded strategy and business development for all of IBM's Hosted Services for the media industry interactive/Internet and television businesses worldwide. He created Digital Media on Demand that provided the Digital Presence for Sesame Street and the Museum of Broadcasting. Ehrlich received his master from U.C.L.A. and holds a B.S.M.E. from University of Miami, Florida.

 

Mike Green is the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development for Brightcove’s Media business, responsible for the overall marketing strategy and execution, including partnership initiatives, marketing communications, demand generation, and field marketing in North America. Prior to joining Brightcove, Mike worked for Comcast, where he led a number of the company’s tech and advertising partnerships and the incubation of new services. Mike has also held management and development roles at digital publisher Kaboose (now part of the Walt Disney Company) and AOL. He is a graduate of Brown University and holds an M.B.A in marketing from Columbia Business School.

 

Rick Howe is a television veteran, with vast experience on the operator (Time Warner Cable) and programmer (Showtime) sides of the business.  He was elected to the Cable Pioneers in 2011, and provides marketing, product positioning and business development services to new providers in the advanced and interactive television space, as well as strategic planning and acquisition consulting for some of the largest players in the media industry.   He writes a column under the sobriquet "The iTV Doctor," published by itvt.com
