Angeles Film Festival, IFC Films released "Pizza" in theatres, on DVD, and is now available on iTunes and Netflix as well as showing periodically on IFC and Sundance Channel. After "Pizza," Kylie recurred on ABC's "Complete Savages" and "Desperate Housewives," guest-starred on "Melissa & Joey," "Bones," "ER,"  "Greek," "Traffic Light," and "Campus Ladies," as well as the upcoming feature "Mr. Intangibles," and the OutFest Screenwriters Lab Staged Reading of "GBF," directed by Darren Stein ("Jawbreaker.") Kylie has also made her way into new media, most notably as one of the stars of the 2013 IAWTV Award winner for Best Comedy Series,  "Squaresville," which was also honored for Best Ensemble Performance  (an award Kylie shares with the rest of the cast). Kylie was also part of an incredible nominee pool for the 2013 IAWTV Award for Best Female Performance in a Comedy for her role as Esther on "Squaresville." Kylie teamed up with "Squaresville" co-star Tiffany Ariany to create the webseries spoof of HBO's hit "GIRLS," entitled "LA Girls," which has been featured on Bust Magazine, HelloGiggles (next to Tina Fey & SNL's GIRLS spoof), IndieWire, Tubefilter, and TVSource magazine, among others. On the music side, Kylie is a trained vocalist in Musical Theatre, Rock, Pop, and R&B styles and calls American Idol performance coaches Peisha and Adriana McPhee her mentors, as well as training with world-renowned Rock/Musical Theatre coach Sheri Sanders of "Rock The Audition," and has trained with Tony Winner John Rubinstein. She had her debut cabaret at M Bar Hollywood in August 2011, and recently, her musical skills were at the forefront in the digital short "The Laundromat" by David Janove.  Kylie is always looking for new collaborators to create new music, whether it's at a house party or a studio. Kylie graduated high school at 16 and after studying French and Music, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a Musical Theatre emphasis. She is also an alumna of the acclaimed 'Broadway bootcamp,' Broadway Theatre Project in Tampa, FL, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts (as the youngest summer attendee in the history of the program at 14), and the UCLA Summer Performance Institute. In her downtime, Kylie enjoys pancakes, fashion, singing, music, writing, traveling, exploring (either solo or with her friends), and hanging out with her two dogs Pie and Scarlett. Tiffany Ariany, actor/writer/producer, "LA Girls": Tiffany Ariany has accomplished credits in acting, writing, producing, directing, hosting and editing. She has had lead or supporting roles in over fifteen independent films. One of her most notable is the title role in the film "Azad", which was won "Best Short Film" at the Guadalajara Mexican Film Festival (2011) and the "Fresh Wave Award" at the Hong Kong International Film Festival (2011). Some of her major television credits include a guest star role in "New Girl" (FOX) and co-star appearance in "Up All Night" (NBC). In regards to production, Tiffany received a Bachelors in Cinema, Television, and Arts with a focus in Television Production from Cal State Northridge. She has produced/hosted two shows, one of them for FCCTV and the other for MTC. Most recently, she created, executive produced, wrote, edited, and starred in the web-series "L.A. Girls". The series has received media attention in notable online publications, and won "Best Lead Actress in a Comedy, Tiffany Ariany as Shoshanna" at the L.A. Webfest. It is also scheduled to screen at the Hollyweb Festival. Her other accolades include winning "Best Ensemble" at the IAWTV Awards for the hit web-series "Squaresville" in which she had a recurring role. Her short documentary film "Homegirl", in which she produced and directed, won third place at the Cal State Media Arts Festival. Kathryn Gallagher, musician/soundtrack, "Thanks For Sharing": Kathryn Gallagher is a singer and songwriter, New York bred, LA raised. She has been featured in Vanity Fair's "Spotlight," has had songs placed on TV and Film. Her song "Damaged" most recently won a Hollywood Music in Media Award for best song in a feature film (Thanks For Sharing.) She is currently working on her debut album. Ali Stroker, Actress and Singer, The Glee Project:  Ali was a finalist on season two of The Glee Project and then played Artie's love interest on the fifth season of GLEE.   She is a graduate of New York University and the first person in a wheehchair to graduate from Tisch’s drama program.  Ali has been performing on stages all over the world for over two decades of her life.  She is currently in Deaf West Theatre’s sold out production of Spring Awakening.  Ali will be guest starring on MTV’s Faking It next month.  Ali is a spokesperson for the anti bullying movement, Be More Heroic.  She has traveled to South Africa to teach acting and improv to children living with HIV.  Ali believes in making your limitations into opportunities! www.alistroker.com

 

Lauren Schacher, actor/writer, "Dream Catcher, Untitled Lauren Schacher project": Lauren is an American actor and screenwriter. She's a graduate of McGill University and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre (NYC). As an actor, her credits include Paul Schrader's IFC Thriller THE CANYONS and David Mamet and HBO'S PHIL SPECTOR, ALL MY CHILDREN. As a writer, her first feature screenplay DREAM CATCHER was a semi-finalist for the Sundance Screenwriter's Lab and subsequent Big Vision Empt Wallet screenwriting fellow in 2013 with in association with Untitled Entertainment and Dogfish Pictures in NYC. Her second narrative feature, currently UNTITLED, bringing the overgrowth of slut-shaming in America and female sexuality into focus, is in development with Unified Pictures to shoot late this summer. She recently completed production on a short she co-wrote with director Nico Raineau for AmFran Entertainment and has been featured on both the Marliu Henner Show and PBS blog "CarolineLeavitteville" for her voice with regard to women in entertainment. Meghan Tonjes, musician, "Girl Rising": Armed with only her voice and guitar, she has managed to create stripped, acoustic versions of hundreds of popular radio hits (everything from Rihanna to Lady Gaga). With her LP, Be In Want, Meghan fuses her addictive melodies and honest words with a stirring and soulful sound reminiscent of Sarah Mclachlan, Jason Mraz and Adele. Be In Want is a self-released, eco-friendly album that recounts the frustration and heartbreak of almost-loves in reverse: starting with the break-up and moving backwards to the initial crush. Fresh off of her first northeast tour, Tonjes has shown she is the definition of a DIY artist, playing well-known venues such as The Stone Pony in Asbury Park (opening for Hedwig and the Angry Inch). In addition to her personal channel and web series, Meghan also heads a Youtube collaboration channel called Project Lifesize. Described as an "average-sized collaboration", the channel aims to start a dialogue about issues of body image, self esteem and acceptance.

 

Shilpi Roy, Writer/Director/Producer, Creator of "Hipsterhood," Shilpi is the writer/director/producer of the award-winning web series Hipsterhood, financed by Blip Studios. Hipsterhood has achieved 2 seasons, winning “Best Comedy web series” in the LA Weekly Web Awards, and was also nominated for “Best Returning Series” at the prestigious IAWTV awards. A graduate of USC film school, Shilpi has worked for notable giants in entertainment such as Warren Littlefield, former head of NBC, and Robert Greenwald of Brave New Films. She has worked as a digital content producer for Playboy TV.  Shilpi currently has a feature in development at her production shingle Odd Frames Media, as well as Hipsterhood season 3, and directs Food programs for Popsugar Studios.

 

Julia Cho, actor/producer, is a Los Angeles native who is probably best known for playing "Charlotte Lu" in the Emmy Award-winning web series The Lizzie Bennet Diaries (YouTube adaptation of Jane Austen's classic novel Pride and Prejudice).  Julia made her professional acting debut in the Bay Area premiere of An Alphabet, presented by the John Cage Trust Fund. She then starred in the Word for Word production of Amy Tan’s Immortal Heart at the Magic Theatre in San Francisco. After an extended award-winning run, the show toured domestically and in France. Since then, Julia has performed/toured with East West Players, hereandnow theatre company, Lodestone Theatre Ensemble, and sketch comedy group OPM.  In 2011, Julia helped found the Los Angeles-based theatre-producing collective Artists at Play. Every year since then, she has co-produced (and sometimes performed in) Los Angeles premieres of published works written by and featuring Asian American artists.  As an actor, Julia’s film/TV credits include Wedding Palace, Larry Crowne.
