Brian leads SI’s business growth in competitive markets, creates diverse revenue opportunities and guides the innovations team to develop leading-edge design and tech-driven solutions that blend physical with digital.  Brian's specialty in growth strategies and keeping content and product companies ahead of the shifting digital landscape has resulted in a client list over the years that includes Philips, Sony Pictures Television, Mattel, Adobe, Nickelodeon, Panasonic, HBO, Showtime, and Turner to name a few. Furthermore, his expertise in the digital  content ecosystem, media, platforms, mobile and devices, and design trends has positioned SI as a truly strategic partner and digital arm to several Fortune 500 companies. Prior to SI Brian was the Vice President of Syndication at Atom Entertainment and Senior Director of Business Development at Zango. He has a BA of Communication Studies from Seattle University and a Master of European Studies from K.U. Leuven, Belgium.

 

Laura Rumbel is the Director of the Consumer Experience Enabling Program for Intel’s Performance Evaluation and Competitive Analysis research group. At Intel she has been in several UX research organizations: Digital Home and Digital Health, and four years in the User Experience Research group within Intel Labs under Dr. Genevieve Bell.  She has over twenty-five years of customer relationship experience focused on understanding how people relate to, think about, and interact with technology.  Laura is responsible for driving business values relative to user experience with specific Intel customers in the IoT space ranging from transportation to smart building, wearables, and workplace of the future initiatives.  Prior to her career at Intel, Laura managed user centered research design efforts for multiple agencies, including Duncan/Channon in San Francisco and KL Design in Portland.

 

Dean Sawyer, MBA – Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Jointly Health:  Dean is an entrepreneur, healthcare executive, exponential executive and startup advisor known for commercializing new, innovative healthcare information technologies such as pharmaceutical eMarketing, electronic health records (EHR), remote patient monitoring and big data analytic solutions. Dean is the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Exponential Officer of Sentrian and an advisor to Frost Data Capital and SeedHIT. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Allscripts Information Services and Electronic Health Record divisions where he played a key role and growing EHR revenue from zero to more than $100M in six years, Chief Business Development Officer at Physicians Interactive (acquired by Merck) where he grew the company from $1M to $30M over 6 years, advisor to Singularity University, Appature (acquired by IMS Health) and GroupMD. Dean was also one of the original executives at Lathian Health, where he co-wrote the business plan that won $5 million in the world’s largest business plan contest. Dean is a graduate of the inaugural Exponential Medicine Executive Program at Singularity University, earned an MBA from Pepperdine University and a BS in Marketing from the University of the Pacific.

 

Rendell Swart, Director, Strategic Sales and Business Development, Arxan Technologies: Rendell leads strategic sales across diverse markets including gaming, digital media, healthcare and IoT.  A veteran of enterprise and security sales, his solutions-based approach has provided top tier technology companies with innovative solutions that are customized to their architectures, platforms and applications.  As increased connectivity invades the healthcare vertical, Rendell has initiated security dialog  with key industry associations, such as the MDISS, the FDA, medical device manufacturers and other key industries constituents on the growing dispersion of application-based risk as these markets expand to include millions of endpoints.  Rendell graduated with a BS in Political Science from the University of California.

 

Kelemen Papp currently serves as an Executive Director at Mooreland Partners, a tech-focused investment bank.  Kelemen has 10 years of investment banking experience in tech, where he has advised clients in the mobile and digital media sectors across a range of transactions, including M&A, Private Placements, Divestitures, etc.  Prior to Mooreland, Kelemen was a Vice President at Rutberg & Company, a boutique investment bank focused exclusively on the mobile sector.  Prior to joining Rutberg, Kelemen spent several years working in product development for companies in the FinTech sector.  He helped launch both Curian Capital, a managed accounts platform for custom portfolios, and FOLIOfn, an Internet-based trading platform that enables dollar-based investing.  Kelemen also helped facilitate the spinout of the NASDAQ by assisting FINRA in the development of the Alternative Display Facility (ADF), an SRO display-only market center.  Kelemen holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and a BBA in Information Technology from The College of William & Mary.

 

Kirk Dulaney has a 24 year track record of creating new opportunities, starting his first business at age 19. Currently the Executive Director of Strategic Business Development at Sony Electronics focused on Home Solutions, he brought his entrepreneurial spirit to the corporate playing field. Dulaney started with Sony in 2001 in a new product development group focused on innovative solutions for networked products. In 2003 he joined the Wireless Strategy Office and began efforts around strategic business development, driving carrier engagements. Dulaney and his team were responsible for delivering the first non-ruggedized embedded notebook solution when the VAIO T-series launched June 2005, offering connectivity via the Cingular EDGE network. Dulaney has continued his efforts to achieve innovative excellence by developing cutting edge business models, service solutions and customer experiences during his tenure at Sony. His responsibilities currently include Sony?s efforts in ACR and services delivered through home products, such as the newly launched Fitness and Wellness solution.  Prior to joining Sony, Dulaney served in senior level roles in the software, e-commerce and wireless industries. Dulaney holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from San Diego State University.
