Diane Sawyer and Sam Donaldson in addition to the longstanding newsmagazine series “20/20.” After 9 prosperous years, Jason continued his work with Diane Sawyer on longform documentaries including following a group of homicide detectives in Philadelphia for over three years and spent over two years following an adult actress breaking into the business in Los Angeles. In 2003, Jason accepted a producing role at CNN working on “Paula Zahn Now.” Jason then briefly produced a few docu-reality series for Spike TV before returning back to CNN as producer for “Anderson Cooper 360”. Then in 2009, Jason moved to Los Angeles to work with Larry King and began establishing Ora TV. Jason was nominated for a Webby Award in 2012 for Best Non-Fiction Writing for “Larry King Now.” He also received his third Emmy nomination this year for his work on “Larry King Now” for Outstanding News Discussion and Analysis in the prominent 35th News & Documentary Emmy Awards. Currently Ora TV reaches over (insert number) of (gender/audience) worldwide each month. Originally from New York, Jason attended State University of New York majoring in communication and journalism. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

 

Jeff Shultz, Vice President, Business Development, Media, CBS Interactive; Jeff leads all business strategy and development for CBS Interactive's Media brands which include TVGuide.com, Last.fm, MetroLyrics, TV.com and CHOW. Prior to joining CBS Interactive, Shultz was the SVP of Business Development for Clicker.com, the leading Internet television guide, acquired by CBS Interactive in March 2011. Previously, Jeff was the Co-Founder and CEO of Concert.TV, the first national live music television network. Over the course of six years, Jeff grew Concert.TV into one of the most successful on demand networks on television, reaching nearly 40 million households through distributors such as Comcast, Cox, Charter, Insight, DirecTV, Verizon and Dish. He also closed sponsorship deals with advertisers like Coca-Cola, AT&T, Visa, Levi's, Target, Starbucks, VW, Paramount, Warner Bros and Live Nation. Prior to founding Concert.TV, Jeff served in business development executive roles for NBC Internet and Quepasa.com. Jeff started his career as a corporate finance attorney for Linklaters in London after graduating from Georgetown Law School.

 

Adam Ware, Founder, Aware Media: Adam Ware has been in media for over 25 years and included senior leadership roles at several broadcast and cable TV networks as well as new digital content ventures. His experience includes advertising sales, distribution, e-commerce, finance, marketing, programming, production and public relations. After 20 years at companies such as FOX, Interactive Corp and Viacom, Adam launched his own firm, Aware Media, advising media clients of all sizes from around the world. The firm's work included the launch of two new cable networks, targeting English speaking Hispanic and Asian Americans respectively. Additionally, Aware Media has advised established media companies on how to best take advantage of new digital opportunities including TV Everywhere, OTT-TV, social media and hyper local programming ventures. Clients include AOL, Boston Ventures, Comcast and the Tennis Channel.

 

Kurt Knutsson is best known as "Kurt the CyberGuy" having created the largest tech lifestyle content franchise on television.  He’s is a regular tech contributor on Fox & Friends, Fox Business Channel and NBC Today Show commuting from LA to NYC each week with a 15 year track record and trusted source as a daily syndicated technology reporter earning two Emmys and a Golden Mic Award.  Kurt believes when you’ve got a grip of the latest tools and technology, you will create a better life for yourself.  Public appearance opportunities in classrooms are as much fun as being invited to speak at major events. AUDRA PRILUCK, Vice President, Media & Entertainment, GfK North America:  With experience in television production, syndication sales, and over a decade of experience in primary market research, Audra currently serves as Vice President, Consulting of GfK's Media & Entertainment Industry Group. In her role, Audra collaborates with TV network and studio clients in the US and internationally, using primary and secondary research to answer key business strategy issues.   Earlier in her career, Audra conducted television program syndication sales for Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution in the Western Region, including The People’s Court, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Extra and Friends. She worked at 20th Television as their television program syndication sales trainee and research analyst, responsible for analysis of shows including Divorce Court, The Practice, Cops, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Malcolm in the Middle.  Audra began her television production career working for TBS in the 1980’s and 1990’s. During college and for several years following, she was behind the scenes on several Emmy-winning programs such as Mad About You, The King of Queens, The Young and The Restless, Arli$$ and J.A.G.  Since 2000, Audra has been an active member of the Academy of Television, Arts and Sciences (ATAS). She is an appointed member of the ATAS Foundation's New Leadership Council since 2005, and previously served on the ATAS Interactive Media Peer Group's Executive Committee in 2011.   Audra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.

 

Greg Portell is a partner with global management consulting firm, A.T. Kearney. He is also a leader in the firm’s global media and entertainment sector with a focus on content convergence, consumer marketing and segmentation as well as business unit strategy.  With more than 20 years of management consulting experience, Greg’s clients include some of the world’s largest and most influential media and consumer marketing companies. His counsel is sought by clients on such emerging issues as digital rights management, consumer targeting, and market acquisition strategy. Greg is a founder and former director of A.T. Kearney’s Print Procurement Solution which creates private, preferred marketplaces for both buyers and sellers to improve marketplace economics. Greg received a M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis and a B.A. from DePauw University.

 

Shawn Gold, Advisor, Wattpad.com; Shawn Gold has over 20 years of experience in branding, communications planning, digital marketing and content strategy. He currently advises Wattpad.com, a social storytelling platform and one of the fastest growing mobile content sites in the world. Previously he oversaw sales, marketing and content development as CMO of Inside Studios, a video and mobile app company creating shows with over 1 billion views on YouTube and MSN. Until 2007, he was CMO, head of marketing & content for MySpace. At MySpace Gold spearheaded the development and implementation of marketing initiatives and campaigns for MySpace during its growth from 25 to 110 million users worldwide. Prior to MySpace he was a partner and the founding publisher of Weblogs, Inc., a network of popular blogs that included Engadget, Joystiq and Autoblog, now part of AOL. As head of communications planning for Rare Medium, Shawn helped launch digital communications strategies for brands at P&G, General Mills, Nestle, Mattel and other international brand marketing companies.

Jason Rovou, Vice President of Content and Development, Ora TV :  Three-time Emmy® nominated producer Jason Rovou is currently Vice President of Ora TV and is overseeing the network’s West Coast division. Jason is also executive producer of “Larry King Now,” “Off the Grid with Jesse Ventura” and William Shatner’s newest series “Brown Bag Wine Tasting.” In addition to executive producing, Jason is essential in developing both the business plan and the content vision for Ora TV, which has ultimately led to the company’s successful launch in 2012. Prior to Ora TV, Jason began his career at ABC News in 1994 working on “Primetime Live” with
