Jim Anderson, CEO of SocialFlow: Jim Anderson has a distinguished track record in technology, with a 20-plus year career spanning the development, productization, and sale of technology solutions in both B2B and B2C environments. He has spent the past six years on the cutting edge of social media, and over that time has been helping marketers effectively use technology to power their social media efforts.  Prior to SocialFlow, Jim was Chief Operating Officer of Vitrue, where he was instrumental in building the team, the products, and the customer relationships that ultimately led to the company’s acquisition by Oracle.  After the acquisition, he spent a year leading the successful integration of the Vitrue products and technology into the Oracle portfolio.  Prior to Vitrue, Jim spent nearly a decade at EarthLink/MindSpring, the consumer Internet Service Provider who helped create consumer adoption of the Internet starting in the mid-1990s.  He led the development and launch of MindSpring’s first high-speed DSL offering, a business that ultimately grew to more than a million subscribers.  Jim also spent nine years in consulting, advising a variety of Fortune 500 clients on technology and business issues.  He has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering from Georgia Tech.  He has three children, including one very special needs child.

 

Rob Macdonald, VP of Business Development, Dstillery: Rob joined Dstillery as VP of Business Development in January 2012 and brings over 12 years of digital media experience. Previously, Rob held senior roles at Google, where he helped launch the hugely successful AdSense platform and eventually head up their strategic partnerships division. Most recently, Rob served as the SVP of Business Development at Scribd where he led corporate strategy and brand relationships. Rob is also very active in the New York start up community as an advisor for the First Growth Venture Network. He holds a MBA from the Case Western Reserve University and a BA in Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan.

 

Chuck Fishman, Director, Media, Entertainment and Publishing, Acquia: As Media, Entertainment and Publishing Director, Chuck Fishman leads Acquia's engagements with the various segments of those industries including music, TV, film, books and magazines, broadcasting and digital media. Acquia enables companies across all industries to develop and manage amazing digital experiences. Fishman also co-chairs the direct marketing and CRM workgroup at DigitalMusic.org helping to set music industry best practices and standards for reaching music fans through artist web sites. At Cisco Systems for 5 years, he managed media and entertainment partnerships for the technology giant including managing the company's partnership with the Warner Music Group. In 2012 after leaving Cisco, Chuck successfully launched the <http://official.fm/>official.fm music promotion platform for record labels. His work with official.fm partner Rostrum Records led to successful digital releases for superstar rappers Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller. Fishman also manages partnerships and digital marketing for the legendary George Clinton & P-Funk All Stars and several other artists. Derek Browers joined MomentFeed as its first employee in 2010 and has played a central role in the company's growth. As the VP of Product Derek has led the development and launch of MomentFeed's PinSync, LocalVoice, Business Intelligence and Campaigns solutions. Previously, Derek led both Product Development and Account Management, where he helped brands like 7-Eleven, Disney Resorts and Home Depot achieve their local-social marketing goals through MomentFeed.  Prior to joining MomentFeed, Derek spearheaded marketing efforts for The Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, a non-profit organization that trains executives to lead urban school districts. Prior to that, Derek was a talent agent at The Gersh Agency where he led market research and analysis efforts for the TV literary department.  Derek holds a bachelor's degree from California State University, Northridge and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University where his graduate thesis research on mobile marketing in Germany, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and Italy was published in the International Journal of Mobile Marketing.

 

Nancy King, Consultant with NewView Marketing: bridges that gap between client and agency with a keen understanding of the issues that confront today's marketing executive. Ms. King formed her own marketing consulting company, NewView Marketing in 2000 after years of successful client side experiences in a variety of different industries from toys to technology to food and entertainment. Mark Carlson co-founded SimpleFeed in 2004 and has served as CEO since the company’s inception. Previously, Mark was CFO at First to File, an enterprise software company he sold to MarkMonitor. He was also general manager of the internet security group of CyberMedia, a public company later acquired by Network Associates/McAfee. Mark joined CyberMedia when it acquired Walk Softly, Inc., a company he founded and helmed as CEO. At Walk Softly, Mark led marketing and development of Guard Dog, an internet privacy and security product that became a PC Data Top 10 product. Before he started Walk Softly, Mark was CFO and vice president of business development at Digital Pictures. He began his career in the technology investment banking departments of Montgomery Securities and PaineWebber after graduating from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
