Joe Swift, founder, 7 Stories Up: Joe Swift launched 7 Stories Up last year to produce unscripted content across all platforms. Prior to that, Joe developed television programming as an executive at TLC and WEtv (where he blogged about "Raising Sextuplets" from green light to production to broadcast). During his five years as an Executive Producer at Travel Channel he oversaw hundreds of hours of original series and specials, including the highest rated series and mini-series in network history. He was a pioneer in formatting UK programs for America, developed Discovery Networks' only Academy Award Feature Documentary nominee, and launched The World Poker Tour, which ignited a pop culture phenomenon. Joe holds an MS in Television/Radio/Film from Syracuse University and a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota.

 

Paul Jetter is the Industry Principal and Lead for Media and Entertainment for Hightail. Hightail, formerly known as You Send It, is the simple solution to send large video files and other digital material while keeping your copyrighted content uber-protected. Paul consults with thousands of Hightail subscribers in the Entertainment industry on secure video distribution, not just of the final piece itself,  but of promotional material, trailers, dailies, b-roll, stills and more to your local, nationwide and global broadcasters, partners and fans. Prior to leading the M&E practice at Hightail,  Paul was a Cloud Product Strategist at SAP, Oracle and IBM. Paul began his career in the Media Practice at the Playboy Catalogue and led the transition to from a print based retailer to a top 200 Internet Retailer. Paul works with all the Major and Mid Major Studios,  agencies and law firms in the industry advising them on secure collaboration of rich media applications. Paul grew up in New YorK City, earned a BA in English at Le Moyne College in Syracuse and currently lives in La Jolla, California.

 

Josh Lamb is Founder and CEO of Multipop, an online platform that transforms video into an engaging, hands-on experience by integrating ecommerce, real-time social interaction, and content extensions. Multipop’s single screen features are designed to help build audiences, increase sales, and draw the viewer into a more immersive brand experience. Prior to Multipop, Josh worked for various companies leading marketing efforts, developing CRM tools, and designing process improvement methodologies for client such as Frito Lay, USG and Aetna Insurance.

 

Maria Casey, VP, Business Development, WIREWAX:  Maria heads business development for WIREWAX, bringing with her over 11 years of experience in emerging platforms in the digital landscape. Prior to WIREWAX, Maria helped grow various startups at various stages, overseeing sales, marketing, social media, product and operational efforts across fashion, tech, entertainment, e-commerce and gaming sectors. Maria's unique blend of creative vision, astute business acumen and her ability to navigate complex negotiations, makes her as comfortable in a production studio as in a board room.  She has been a regular panelist across industry events, featured in The New York Times and created award winning game concepts for brands worldwide.

 

David Murdico, Creative Director & Managing Partner, Supercool Creative Agency: David Murdico is the Creative Director and Managing Partner of Supercool Creative Agency, an online video, social media marketing, PR and consulting agency based in  Los Angeles, that works with some of the coolest brands and startups on the planet including Capcom, IBM, T-Mobile, Pizza Hut and Dish. David is also a contributing writer at a number of premier publications including Ad Age, Business Insider, MediaPost, iMedia Connection, Social Media Today, Agency Post, ReelSEO, PR Daily, and YFS Magazine, where he is also a featured expert. David’s speaking credits include the SMASH Social Media Advanced Skills Marketing Huddle at the University of Southern California and the 2013 Viral Summit in Beverly Hills, he’s a guest lecturer, and has been interviewed on radio and publications including OnlineVideo.Net, ReelSEO and Contently, and was named a Top Video Marketing Expert to Follow in 2014 by Viewbix.  David is a graduate of The University of Southern California.

Markus Almer, VP Business Development, VideoRx:  As the vice president of business development at VideoRx, Markus Almer is responsible for business development and account management.  He has worked with clients like Toyota, DIRECTV, Comcast, IKEA as well as start-up companies, to identify business opportunities and develop enterprise level online video solutions for all platforms and devices. He speaks at events and conferences including Digital Hollywood, the American Marketing Association and Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce. Previously he was president and co-founder of Almer/Blank, a digital agency in Los Angeles. He began his career in digital media by introducing patented digital business card technology to the U.S. market. Markus earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Zurich.
