Juan was also a director at Brand Sense Partners, a leading entertainment products and branding firm. Earlier in his career, Juan worked at the renowned Silicon Valley design firm IDEO as a designer, engineer and project leader for companies including EA and Apple. Juan began his career, at BMW's Technology Office Palo Alto, working on advanced in-vehicle computing and interfaces. Juan recently interviewed Allen Deboise on the state of online video at a Stanford Business School Alumni fireside chat and spoke on Online Video as an Internet Business as the 2013 GRP Partners Investor Summit. Juan's previous speaking engagements have included seminars on technology, innovation and entertainment at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, the Stanford University Institute of Design "d.school", UCLA's Anderson School of Business and USC's Marshal School of Business, and VidCon. Juan holds a Bachelors in Product Design from Stanford University, a Masters in Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Juan also has a character named after him in an upcoming Downey franchise.

 

Susan Brazer, CEO, LionShare Media: is a global Mobile Media Strategy & Business Development executive, who architects and launches disruptive new platforms, products and applications. Susan has expertise in commercializing emerging technologies and building profitable media and mobile businesses and ventures. Recently, Susan was VP of Strategy and Business Development for Nokia’s smart phones and connected devices and VP Corporate Development and Product Strategy for Virgin Mobile USA. Prior to this, she was EVP of Kirch Media’s venture fund for the FIFA World Cup and SVP for Viacom’s International TV service in Middle East and Africa, where managed MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, The Movie Channel, TV Land, Bloomberg and Discovery channels. Susan led the migration to digital TV in Europe at SES ASTRA and launched the DirecTV at Compression Labs. At Apple, Susan launched the first portable computer, the Newton, and was part of the concept team for Knowledge Navigator. Susan started her career at PepsiCo in M&A and at Philip Morris in the international treasury. Susan holds a B.A. in Economics from Brandeis University, an MBA from Kellogg and attended London School of Economics. She is a mentor at Princeton’s Keller School of Engineering on Entrepreneurship and Innovation and co-founder the Northeast Corridor Smart City Initiative.

 

Joshua Lennox, Co-Founder of Bulldog Digital Media: Joshua Lennox is an innovative media and entertainment executive with 20 years of expertise and experience in the digital media industry. He is a proven leader in all areas of content development, business strategy, digital media, television operations, production, and branding. A former Senior Director of Products at AEG Digital Media, Joshua has managed products, timelines, budgets, marketing and partnerships across all platforms for clients like Google, ABC, The Grammys, and others. He has a complete understanding of technology, device enablement and video workflows for both broadcast and digital. Prior to AEG, Joshua consulted with media companies (FX, BBC, NBC and others) to create branded entertainment for both online and broadcast. The online content complimented broadcast shows while also giving exposure to brands. Joshua also ran a 60-person team at Universal Sports, where he created and administered a program of premium video content for this division of NBC Universal. Universal Sports reached 50 million homes and streamed more than 2000 live hours per year. Joshua knows how to turn a strategic vision into a successful business reality and has the capacity to manage development through deployment and into continued operation.

 

Donald A. Jasko, Chief Executive Officer of Digital Economics: is an attorney by training. He has, for the past 25 years, focused his energies on the economic, technological and legal issues involved in the licensing of creative content. From 1981 through 1997 Don served in various management positions at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), in which he was instrumental in transforming the process by which performance rights in musical compositions are licensed for television broadcast. He was a key participant in the complex music industry negotiations that culminated in the new "per program" license, as well as the development of the process by which music performance and pricing data are exchanged electronically between television broadcasters and performing rights organizations. In 1997 Don resigned from ASCAP to found Digital Economics. In 1998 Don became a major catalyst in the merger of Solana Technology Development Corporation with Aris Technologies, thereby creating Verance Corporation. He joined Verance in 2000 with key product development, marketing, business affairs, and sales responsibilities for Verance's digital audio watermark technology in the music and entertainment sectors. He also played a key role in forging international joint ventures. Don returned to the leadership of Digital Economics in October 2001. As Chief Executive Officer, he provides business affairs, publishing administration, license administration and product development services to Digital Economics' clients. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation involving the licensing and valuation of creative content. His clients and collaborators include: o Composers and recording artists o Publishers o Programmers o Advertisers o Content aggregators o Television, radio, wireless and peer-to-peer media o Various service providers to owners of creative content He speaks regularly at industry conferences and educational programs. Prior to earning his JurisDoctor degree at Seton Hall University School of Law, Don received a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude (with a major in Government) from the University of Virginia. He is also a graduate of the Program on Investment Decisions and Behavioral Finance at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Luke Wang is currently the VP of Business Operations for Omnia Media, the biggest independent MCN generating over 1.3 billion views per month across the Music, Gaming and Style/Beauty verticals. Luke joined the company as its third employee in mid-2013 and is currently responsible for overseeing the Sales, Marketing, and Content Network departments. Prior to joining Omnia, Luke served as a Network Affiliate Manager for Machinima, working directly with content creators and YouTube talent. Luke started his career at CAA.
