Natalie Novak is an Agent in the Digital Media department of United Talent Agency, where she is focused on business development, branded entertainment, and strategic partnership initiatives for the group's individual and corporate clients. She works with clients including Delta, VidCon, Starlight Runner Entertainment and digital influencers including Justine Ezarik aka iJustine and Joey Graceffa. Natalie joined UTA in 2011 after graduating from Southern Methodist University, where she received a dual B.A. in Sociology and Corporate Communications & Public Affairs.

Monica Lay, Senior Product Marketing Manager for Advertising Solutions, Adobe:  Monica Lay is a senior product marketing manager at Adobe focused on social advertising solutions. A digital advertising/media industry veteran, Monica came to Adobe through its acquisition of Efficient Frontier, where she led display and social advertising efforts in Australia, focusing on product development and client management. Earlier in her career, Monica worked for some of Australia’s top media agencies including Mediacom, ZenithOptimedia, Ikon Communications, and Downstream Marketing – providing digital consulting and strategic planning services to clients including Vodafone, Hewlett Packard and Qantas. Most of her career has been focused on leveraging data and analytics to drive marketing results for brands. Monica is now based in San Francisco and received her Bachelor of Business/Commerce from the University of Technology, Sydney.

 

Oren Boiman, CEO and co-founder, Magisto:  Oren Boiman was a Ph.D. student working with Artificial Intelligence and researching the science of Video Vision when entrepreneurial inspiration struck.  It was while editing together all of the videos he and his wife had taken of their newly born child that he realized it had taken him two weeks to create a three-minute film.  He knew it could be easier. From this experience an idea was born that would change how millions of people told their personal stories with video and photos.  Magisto was founded in 2009, driven by the desire to help people turn their ordinary video and photo memories into storytelling magic.  Together with his co-founder, Alex Rav-Acha, Oren used his background in AI and computer science to develop the cloud-based mobile technology that enables Magisto to automatically select the most compelling moments from videos and photos and weave them together into cohesive personal narratives.  Oren, whose background includes Research Lead for Applied Materials, has a PhD., Computer Vision from the Weizmann Institute Of Science and earned a MSc. and BSc., Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.

Marc Landsberg, CEO, Social Deviant:  Marc is the founder and CEO of socialdeviant, a social media agency dedicated to creating value for brands in a socially connected world. Marc has 20+ years of marketing and M&A experience, serving as CEO of MRM and Arc, and as a director at Lake Capital. Early in his career, Marc co-founded startup Digital Knowledge Assets, a Web-based knowledge-management platform, with Twitter CEO Dick Costolo and Telcoms guru Tim McDonald.

 

Tom Beeby. Principal - Executive Creative Director:  Tom is responsible for the superb quality of the creative programs coming out of Beeby Clark+Meyler. He specializes in brand expressions that work in synergy across multiple platforms. He worries about strategy first, then allows his original creative tactics in Social, Mobile, Video, eCRM, Digital Promotions, Print, and DM to flow from there.  Prior to joining Beeby Clark+Meyler, Tom spent 10 years at Modem Media, leaving after 4 years in the top creative spot (SVP, Executive Creative Director) at headquarters to pursue his dream as an agency principal.  At Modem Media, Tom supervised a team of 50+ creative personnel, and was directly responsible for the creative product on $50 million in billings per year.  Tom’s clients at Modem Media included: Delta Air Lines, Song Airlines, Revlon, Kraft Foods, Sony, Wyeth, Home Depot, AOL, Merrill Lynch, Monster, and the Heineken and Amstel brands. Prior to joining Modem Media, Tom was a writer in the creative group at Welles-Rich-Greene in New York.  Tom has 3 amazing boys. His interests outside of his family and his work include travel, playing guitar in a band, cooking, writing, reading, and skiing. Tom’s teams have taken home multiple awards from the Echo’s, Effies, Addy’s, Caples, One Show, Cannes, Graphis, Ad:Tech, and many others in between.

 

David T. Nguyen, Ph.D., Digital Customer Research and Development, Lead, Accenture: David leads the Accenture TechLabs Digital Customer Research and Development program with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, artists, designers, and business leaders. He employs a customer-centered, business relevant approach to inventing novel technologies in areas of customer analytics, social collaboration, crowdsourcing, connected car, mobile apps, and wearable devices. He delivers Digital Experience strategy and technology innovations to his clients across industries including resources, financial services, and products.  David’s work in Digital Experience spans over a decade of research, design, and development. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from University of California, Berkeley with a focus on Human-Computer Interaction. He received his B.S. in Computer Engineering with a focus in Psychology from Northwestern University. He has enjoyed founding, joining, and growing early-stage technology startups to see both through successful acquisitions.

 

Tania Yuki, Founder and CEO, Shareablee: Tania Yuki is founder and CEO of Shareablee, a leading provider of social content analytics for business. She has spent most of her career in digital marketing, measurement and analytics, and was recently honored with a Great Mind Award from the Advertising Research Foundation and featured in Fast Company and Forbes as one of 12 women driving digital in New York. She is also the founder of wimlink, an organization that holds regular events and seminars promoting entrepreneurship, leadership and the professional development of women. Tania began her career as a media and internet attorney, specializing in digital rights management, IP and film financing. After moving to the US from Australia she was seduced by digital and went on to run an online video content network as head of acquisitions and branding and has also led product management for comScore's Video Metrix, the world's leading online video ratings service.
